My Rendezvous has 99000 miles on it and all I have replaced only brake pads, tires and a serpentine belt. The exterior is easy to care for.

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Buick Rendezvous?
I just bought the Rendezvous last month after 20 years of driving various Chrysler mini-vans (which I loved, but ALL were oil burners and had transmission issues.) I LOVE the Rendezvous; I have the CXL, AWD. The AWD has been great with all the snow/ice we had last month. The mileage is good, lots of room, good looks and nice interior. The heated seats are great!
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Buick Rendezvous?
You don't get much floor heat when you have a combination of defrost/floor or vent/floor heat. Only three little vents next to the gas pedal.

make it easier to get into the third row seats. If you have a carseat in the second row, there is no way to get into the third row. I have 2 car seats, one on each side, my 11 year old climbs out the back hatch to get out.

I bought mine recently, it is used with over 61k miles. So far, so good!! Love all the room and it rides so nicely. Far as I can tell, everything is great.

With one exception-the mileage, but it is a heavy vehicle, so I imagine thats to be expected.

For my vehicle personally, I have no complaints. I can drive it almost like a small car because it handles so well. My family loves the room and storage. Just hoping it stays this way!!

I would tell GM to stop using plastic parts in its transmissions,Because mine went at 60k GM hasnt learned its lession building crusal componits with substandard parts made in mexico.

Also tierods,front bearings which I have to replace all before 40K,electronics,airbag sensors,dashboard lighting.Feel like I got a Katrina car w/all the electronic Failures.

I would NOT recommend the 2005 year. I have had to replace too many parts on it for a Buick. Transmission, etc. not good. If under 60,000 my advice, get rid of it.

Handles very well. All seats are comfortable. Lots of room for passengers and hauling.

Mileage, seat covers, Rear hatch door too hard for short people.

2005 Buick Rendezvous Review:
I will never buy another Rendezvous it has only 50,000 miles and I had to add 3 quarts of trans fluid which means a big leak somewhere. Also, after owning a Honda the Buick feels like driving a tank. The inside is comfortable and it looks sharp but the Rendezvous is under powered and rides rough not worth the money I paid for it. I will never buy a GM product again.
