2005 Cadillac SRX Review:
I would not recommend until GM can design a car that does cost an "arm and a leg" to maintain. Every time I go to the dealer it is another thousand dollars. $150 to change a bulb since you need to take bumper off. It rides nice and looks great but costs too much to maintain.

I am having to replace the brake rotors/pads too often. My mechanic does not understand why they went in 12K miles. I do not ride the brakes. Never had this problem with any other car. Mechanic is baffled too...
Better gas mileage would be a plus.

It's a piece. Had it in shop a lot, 3 times for cat converter, the stereo needed to be replaced, and the abs system, and it rattles and still does because they can't seem to find what makes it do it... I think they should all give us new cars... this is ridiculous!!! We spend lots of money to have a caddy and we get a lemon.... they should recall these cars! I THINK THEY KNOW THEY ARE A PIECE BUT DON'T WANNA HELP US BECAUSE IT WOULD COST THEM TO MUCH MONEY...

Not near enough storage room in the inside. Glovebox small. Would also like to have more storage capability when 3rd row seating is in use.

It is roomy and I enjoy driving it.

Mileage. It is not bad for highway, but it is terrible in town.
2005 Cadillac SRX Review:
I have had a lot of trouble with it. I have had it in the shop 3 times for power steering trouble, cat converter and I'm told the timing chains will have to be replaced.
I think they are well built with cheap parts.

It runs like crap, have had it in the shop more than in my driveway. Had it in 5 times for the same fluid leak in the back compartment. Has had to have 3 cat converters thus far - still rattles. Now it is cutting out on me when I drive it - almost like shutting down. This is truly the absolute worst car I've ever owned. Would NEVER recommend.
