Pros: What do you like about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
Stow & Go, and sliding doors. That is it.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
Stop using cheap parts!
2005 Chrysler Town & Country Review:
Has 60,000 miles on it. Most of these issues started around 35,000 miles. Interior material covering the roof is coming unglued. The entire dash cracked in half, and the rear tail lights are coming unglued. The balance knob on the stereo broke in half even though we rarely use it. The passenger side sliding door no longer opens automatically. I will never buy another Chrysler again! Stay away!!

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
Excellent travel vehicle. Trip milage, 22/23 mpg. Comfortable ride.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
Lower cost of GPS update, $200.00 for each of three updates, real rip off.
2005 Chrysler Town & Country Review:
Do not care for service van style of current model, (2010-2011).

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
Stow and go.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
Middle row seats squeak badly, rear windows rattle and don't seem to seal out road noise.
Passenger side door broke at 50K.
Has left us stranded roadside 6 times for various electrical system/fuel system issues.
Engine seems underpowered.
I would improve it by having HONDA make it!
2005 Chrysler Town & Country Review:

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
The stow and go feature is very useful, and the car handles very well.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
Sliding driver side door did not work after 52,000 miles, and the power rear lift gate also broke shortly after. Expensive to repair.
First set of brakes did not last very long. There is a noise (??) under the hood at engine idle, but all power assisted equipment and air-conditioning continue to work.
2005 Chrysler Town & Country Review:
Other than the above complaints, I am pleased with the car that now has 115,000 miles.

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
Stow n Go seating.
Nice appearance.
Sun roof.
Power everything!
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
For a 3.8 engine, it lacks power compared to my 00 Chevy Venture's 3.4.
Tire pressure warning light flashes even when tires are correctly inflated.
Seats are uncomfortable.
Lots of outside noise.
Brake calipers and rotors are undersized. Oh yeah! One more thing, had to replace the oxygen sensor @ 32000 miles.
2005 Chrysler Town & Country Review:
I do like the Town & Country. But, I can't help but to be annoyed with the silly little flaws in their designs and engineering! Chrysler could have done a lot better with this one. They have been making minivans for a long time now, and there is no excuse for so many shortcomings in their products. They should have mastered it by now!

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
Like the stow n go feature
Smooth ride
Quiet
Good mileage
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
Purchased end of dec. 04
End of may air season air didn't work, repaired under warranty 5/27/05.
Worked until next air season. repaired 06.
Worked until 07, repaired again 5/30/07.
Air season again 09 doesn't work again.
I have 13,000 mi. I needed front pads and rotors. I understand the brakes (I think) low mileage short runs = rust??
Two others - man in waiting area of dealer and my sister in law - had identical problems. Three times, and, out.
Ford took better care of these types of problems than Chrysler or GM ever did.

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
IT TOOK 6 PEOPLE AND MYSELF OUT OF HARMS WAY. THE ONLY THING IT DID WAS GET MY FAMILY OUT OF TOWN BEFORE HURRICANE KATRINA HIT.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
MY VAN HAS 57K MILES ON IT. IT HAS HAD 3 SETS OF BRAKES, THE WINDOW ON THE DRIVER SIDE WENT OUT ONE MONTH OUT OF WARRANTY. THE ELECTRONIC KEY DOES NOT OPEN OR LOCK THE VAN. THE A/C FAN DOES NOT BLOW AIR. TOO MANY SAFETY FEATURES DON'T WORK. I WAS REJECTED FOR MY BRAKE TAG STICKER BECAUSE OF THE WINDOW AND NOW I AM BEING FORCED TO REPAIR IT IN 30 DAYS OR MY CAR WILL NOT BE APPROVED FOR STREET USE. THIS SUCKS! I HATE IT! CAN'T WAIT TO GET RID OF IT!
2005 Chrysler Town & Country Review:
NEVER AGAIN! I WILL GO BACK TO FORD FOR MY NEXT VEHICLE. I HAD A FORD CONTOUR I GAVE TO MY SON PRIOR TO HURRICANE KATRINA AND IT IS STILL WORKING! I BOUGHT THE VAN ON A WHIM (MORE LIKE A GUIDANCE FROM GOD) BECAUSE I NEEDED IT TO TAKE FAMILY AWAY PRIOR TO THE HURRICANE. BUT HAVING THE VAN HAS BEEN A HEADACHE THAT COSTS EXTRA MONEY.

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
I like the convenience of the stow & go seating and how the car drives.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Chrysler Town & Country?
This is my 3rd Chrysler van and this one doesn't compare favorably to the other two. After 40,000 miles half of which was interstate driving, I needed front brakes and rotors. At 44,000 miles I needed the rack and pinion replaced and I have the same symptoms again at 55,000 miles. Fifty to sixty percent of mileage is interstate drving. I also had an engine miss at around 40,000 miles which was caused by the spark plugs. All these repairs were very pre mature.
2005 Chrysler Town & Country Review:
The quality of this vehicle is not acceptable and will cause me to buy another brand. I currently own 3 Chryslers and the disappointment of the 05 van will probably drive me away from Chrysler. I have had two recalls and a number of small items that were repaired under warranty.
