Pros: What do you like about 2005 Dodge Magnum?
Everything is great, fun to drive, and people ask me what it is all the time. One time I walked out of a store and there were a ton of people looking at it. It is a cool car.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Dodge Magnum?

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Dodge Magnum?
I like everything. I bought it new in 2004 and still got it today, 2011. It's the R/T with the Hemi and it's Black. Looks mean.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Dodge Magnum?
The only things I would change is being able to see over the front end better. It sits a little low and is easy to drag the front fascia. Maybe a front camera.
Also, the rear door is a dirt collector.
2005 Dodge Magnum Review:
I would buy another one if they still made them. You can not ask for a better performing car than the Hemi Magnum R/T. Gets up and goes but on the highway cuts down to 4 cylinders for better mileage.

The looks and performance are great.
It is a solid road car.
I have the 5.7 Hemi. Have got 23.7 mpg.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Dodge Magnum?
The problem with this car is the drive train. Right now this car is in the shop at AAMCO with transfer case problems. Output shaft from the Auto 5spd is also worn. Tie rod ends are shot. A very high maintenance drive train, and costly. The bill was going to be 2900.00 before they found the tailshaft in the transmission trouble. Great car but expensive to fix and maintain.

Everything is good. Except the grill in the front.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Dodge Magnum?
Change the grill in the front!
Make the muffler sound more like a muscle car!
To remember seating!
And to make the passenger side seat powered!
Also it's so hard to change spark plugs on these cars!

I have the magnum r/t loved its roomy interior, aggressive look confirms the power underneath the hood.
Driving it was amazing as I cruised by, it was always a headturner!
Great to haul alot of groceries, building materials and the dreaded friend that weighs a ton!! Lol!

Transmission needed to be changed twice, I also experienced electrical problems, the stock continental tires are garbage.
It's too low to the ground I got stuck in less than a foot of snow!
Front suspension & tire rods are flimsy.
Too many blind spots along with crappy interior mostly all of it was plastic!!! I still only have 29,000 miles on mine!! }:0(-
2005 Dodge Magnum Review:
I would still buy this car if several improvements were made to the above disappointments I stated above!! But I'm leaning towards a charger or the challenger srt8!! Sorry!!!

Smooth classy design.
Great body design for custom painting.
Power band is manageable with the mid size hemi.
Serious Head-Turner.
Great seats.
Roomy interior.
Awesome handling (changed suspension rubber and sway bars with 2" drop).
Great sound system (Boston Acoustic)...

Better finish with interior.
Rear wheels break lose a lot.
A bit rattly on the inside.
Satellite antenna is poor design...

This is a great car if you want power and elegance... It has top end performance and a smooth comfortable ride... You can park it anywhere and everyone loves it.. My wife and I love to drive it through the wine country because it holds a lot of wine and people love it...

Style and function. I own the sxt. 250hp is just enough.

Transmission - it tends to slam every now and then.

Looks tough, has power, rides nice, and has plenty of room to haul stuff.

Better gas mileage and better built (see comments below).
2005 Dodge Magnum Review:
Since May of this year, the right outter tie rod end has been replaced, a leak from the driver's side of the front timing cover was resealed, and now, the throttle body needs to be replaced (it's on backorder - the wait is two months). The icing on the cake? My car only has 51,000 miles on it . :(
