Have water getting into oil at 52000 miles. Dealer said it would cost $1300 to $2200.00 to check out.
2005 GMC Canyon Review:
I have had problems with doors, windows, tires and brakes.
Now I have water getting into oil. I am contacting GM for help.

Looks really nice.
Pulls boat well.
Decent mpg for having 31" tires.
Plenty of room in my 4 door.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 GMC Canyon?
Would like it to have 4.3 Vortec V6.
Need to move the heated seat control, I hit it all the time by accident getting in.

Good cab size, and load handling. Lights high/low beam very good. Very good off road and towing performance.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 GMC Canyon?
milage poor, exhaust manifold cracking, fuel injector problems.
$2,000.00 repairs between 30, -70, miles. Down shift in hills at 70mph with no load

engine needs about 30 more hp and the gear range needs some work at the 70mph cruse range

the size - fuel mileage - nice truck !

different tires - right from the start - I had bad tires from General tire - jumped through hoops to get the dealer to replace them - it took 3 weeks - that was when I called GM to complain ......
