I think the jeep is really cute.
Easy to park and drives well.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Jeep Liberty?
Air conditioning is a problem. Dealer does not find the leak or don't care to. They supposedly installed a new evaporator core in the fall..but no air again!! I waited three months for the part. The Jeep has been serviced six times for air conditioning problems.

Should have read up on this Jeep before I bought it..others should too.
Hot cars are not much fun in the summer.

I love Jeep.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Jeep Liberty?
The fabric on the seats is horrible. They stain with water.
The location of the window controls is ridiculous. Put them back on the door.
The drink holders are useless because they sit back too far for the driver and they are too close together. Whenever, we have two drinks in there at the same time, you have to slightly tilt one to get the other out. How stupid.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the window motors constantly breaking this year and I rarely roll down my windows.
Completely mind boggled about replacing the tires frequently. I use this car to drive 8 miles each way to work and I have had to replace all the tires three times in 5 years and I am looking at having to purchase another set very shortly.
I am thoroughly upset with the overheating that is occurring now and cannot seem to find the problem. I am sure this is going to cost me a pretty penny.
Three payments to go and this hunk of junk is mine. Yeah for me.
2005 Jeep Liberty Review:
I am not saying that I would swear off of Jeep after my experience with this particular model but I sure as hell am going to do more research before purchasing another one. I hope all the Jeep owners will be forthright with their concerns in the future.

It was a new car.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Jeep Liberty?
Interior stain- with water or rain.
Had to replace my rear end- ball joints ect after 5 years- $1300.00 cost.
Had to replace tire - twice - within 5 years.
Cheap carpet was install in car.
Replaces front ball joint.
Had all the recall done.
No good gas mileage.
2005 Jeep Liberty Review:
This was the worst car that I every brought- can't wait until God bless me with another car.

I like the appearance.
It is fun to drive and for a SUV.
Parking isn't a problem.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Jeep Liberty?
You should be able to put more miles on it before it breaks down, and have to spend 1200.00 on the motor with 57,000k.
And the cloth seats are a pain. 150.00 to repair one front seat.
2005 Jeep Liberty Review:
Most of us when buying new car get 5 year loan, so when you finally pay off, or just about to, the repair costs start. Not worth the price.

Exterior has held up good~~the only good thing I can say.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Jeep Liberty?
Better fuel mileage.
Replace the fabric seats with a more stain resistant fabric.
I have already had to repair two windows.
Other than the exterior ~~it is a very poor made vehicle. Not worth the money I paid for it and will never purchase another Chrysler product.

I have 2002 Jeep Liberty. It is nice and big, great in mountains rides.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Jeep Liberty?
My 2002 1st bad engine blew up. My 2nd engine is having problems and low gas mileage. It goes through a lot of gas. I have a lot new parts on it and it doesn't run well. How can I get better gas mileage?

Seats were scotched guard but stain with the rain, they must have used sacred water with no scotch in it.
2005 Jeep Liberty Review:
Acceleration sucks or stalls out after take off has dead spot. Customer service is non responsive at dealers in Indiana. I bought 4 Jeeps for business cars after using Nissan for 15 years, I will return to Nissan as service is great and with a smile. I have seen any dealers with a smile upon arrival. They must all hate waiting on customers. I complained about warranty items and they thought I was joking and never called me back about the built in fog lite covers that defaced in 6 months, they just gave feeble minded excuses why it was wear and tear, but they are defective by design! I am 62 and and have bought over 309 cars in my life time from Jaguar to Corvette and Mustang, I know when I am being fleeced and lied to by dealers reps whose sole being is to give honest answers to help customers.

Love the style of this jeep. This is the first one I've owned. Has great get up and go power when on the highway.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Jeep Liberty?
Not enough cargo space in rear. Should be just a tad bit longer. Putting the window controls on the center console is useless unless you only have the right arm to drive with. Should have the center console larger for storage and cup holders aren't very convenient as they sit to far back.
2005 Jeep Liberty Review:
I really like this Jeep but am having a problem with it having fuel surges when going 30 or less miles per hour. It acts like it's going to stall out and then kicks back in. Real herky jerky. Does any body else have this problem?
