Great car! Inside and out.
Very smooth ride.
I have happy 59000 miles on it.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Kia Amanti?
Cup holders in front are awkward and small.
Why is the resale value so poor?
2005 Kia Amanti Review:
Over all one of the best cars I have owned and I've had a lot. Only mechanical problem was the accelerator system froze in very cold weather but it healed itself.

It's big and it's a nice riding car.

It's a 2005 and in 2010 the paint started flaking.
Somehow everything in my trunk keeps getting ruined when it rains.
It has 86,000 miles and I need a new cv axle, the chrome molding from around my driver door has popped off & it would just flap in the wind and my leather is rubbing off. I take very good care of my care by cleaning it with leather cleaner and waxing the outside often.
2005 Kia Amanti Review:
It's got a nice motor and rides smooth, but the it just looks like it is falling apart. And I am having to put money in it to fix the looks of it...so far no problems with the motor!

Saw the 2005 Kia Amanti, instant love.
Nice body and leather heated seats.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Kia Amanti?
Must have gotten the Kia after all assemblers were threatened or is this just bad luck. Position changes to passenger seat, up and down. Rear seats heated change the grill looks like Chrysler grill.
2005 Kia Amanti Review:
Sway bar and control arm replaced @19,200 mi. Stereo system died due to water in trunk? How this happened/?" Warranteed to 36,000 mi. gear shifter knob came off could not use without a screwdriver. Ball joint passenger side needs replacing water in trunk again has shorted out trunk release needs rear wiring harness replaced car has 86,000 mi.

It's a smooth riding vehicle. It's a Cadillac ride at a economical price.
The appearance is one of great elegance with all the bells and whistles. My Kia has the Leather Package on it. It's a upgrade with sunroof, premium Infinity 6 CD changer stereo system, wood grain instrument panel,leather interior etc. The seats are heated and dual temperature zone controls is simply amazing.
The Kia Amanti is a very comfortable car.

Only that the gas mileage could be a little better. But since I bought it had 56,000 miles on it. So It not that big of a deal for me.
2005 Kia Amanti Review:
The Kia Amanti is truly a luxury car in every sense of the word. But since it's a Kia, it has a very economical price. I started my search with a Mercedes Benz C or S-class type. I believe the Kia is my Mercedes with all the style, grace and performance at a price you can't resist. The warranty and protection package is second to none.
I'm well pleased with my Kia Amanti.

Hi all it's me seaworthy , I now have all most 60,000 miles on my car run's like a top.
Am getting 19 m.p.g. city, 29 high way at 72 m.p.h. This is REAL TIME, in my 2005 Kia Amanti ,., you may be saying how !
Ok I gut a Performance Chip for the year of my car, now it's a better car then ever. With the new Chip, its all round running is better. But not all Performance Chips are good and don't do much for your car. It will cost you for one that work's!
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Kia Amanti?
I hate the driver's SEAT, but all in all I feel very SAFE in this car.
The only other thing is you have to take the new chip out when taking it to the shop, or they will take it out and keep it and put the Kia one in, then it will cost you more.
2005 Kia Amanti Review:
It's safe, big to me ,rides like a luxury car, stable in bad weather. Using real good tires is the only way to go, and use only the best in a summer tire too.
Hope to have this car for a 1,000,000, miles or longer, it's the best ever.
Hope you enjoy your Kia Amanti as much as I do, but the seat is B/S. Fix it.

Just a nice good car.
Has a lot for a lot less.
You can say all the B/S over a KIA but my KIA AMANTI is the best, and real good in the SNOW. I live in Maine.

The seat could be a little longer. I am 6'6" tall, 280 lbs.
Hope to see better gas mileage down the road, but for now my 2005 is the best. Just hit 50,400 miles on it.
2005 Kia Amanti Review:
All in all a very nice car, rides real good.
It only had 60 miles on it when I bought it. I am very very happy with it.
Just make the seat a little longer???

Set up for better gas mileage, add temp gage and mirror compass.

The only problem with this car is the rapid and deep depreciation, when you buy new even with rebates you must keep for four years.
