Pros: What do you like about 2005 Nissan Altima?
Great pick up coming from a 1998 Nissan Altima.
Great on gas, about 400miles to the tank.
Very nimble.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Nissan Altima?
Arm rest too far back.
TCS and fog lights should be standard.
2005 Nissan Altima Review:
Owned a 1998 Altima, now a 2005 then hopefully a 2015. Only buy Nissans - very very reliable. I only changed battery and a bulb on the 1998. So far the 2005 is perfect!

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Nissan Altima?
EVERY THING AS IT IS LIGHT WEIGHT CAR. A REAL HOT ROD. LOOK AT THOSE ALUMINUM SWING ARMS SUPPORTING THE WHEELS. NOT DINOSAUR STUFF LIKE THE HEAVY AMERICAN CARS.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Nissan Altima?
NOTHING. IT'S GREAT JUST LIKE IT IS.
2005 Nissan Altima Review:
LOOK AT HOW MUCH TORQUE THE MOTOR HAS COMPARED TO HONDA & TOYOTA. VERY QUICK OFF THE LINE. LOVE THIS LITTLE JEWEL AS IT PERFECT FOR ME, A RETIRED MECHANIC.

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Nissan Altima?
Performance and interior.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Nissan Altima?
Factory brakes and tires were garbage.
Nissan has a major problem with Quality...
I couldn't even get through to someone in Head Office with my complaints.
I will NEVER buy another Nissan.
Resale value is pathetic too.
2005 Nissan Altima Review:
Quality is not job 1 at NISSAN...

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Nissan Altima?
Styling.
Side mirrors are heated.
Driver's seat lumbar support.
Large trunk.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Nissan Altima?
3.5l engine is a gas guzzler.
Lack of suspension.
Hard seats make it painful to drive long distances.
Transmission shifts are very rough.
Poor steering: long radius turns.
Steering shaft and A/C shot after only 70,000km.
ABS and traction control should be standard.
Noisy overall (engine and little, if any, sound proofing).

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Nissan Altima?
Our 2.5 SL has good looks and is fun to drive with great performance and handling (after early on replacement of original equipment Continental tires). It has plenty of power with the 4 cylinder and gets good gas mileage 24/29. We also really love the Bose sound system.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Nissan Altima?
The center arm rest should be moved a few inches farther forward to have a better support for arm. I do think the paint tends to chip rather easily. I've already mentioned the tire problem.
2005 Nissan Altima Review:
We purchased this car new and overall it has been a very nice automobile that is a delight to drive. My wife mainly drives it, but I do as much as I can whenever it's at home which is not much as she is always going somewhere.
