Pros: What do you like about 2005 Nissan Maxima?
I love the model. It handles very well and drives smoothly.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Nissan Maxima?
1. I have a problem opening the door on driver's side. I have to press the key fob really, really, hard for it to open (sometimes two or three times). Sometimes I have to go to the passengers side to open the door on the drive's side. I've asked dealers if there is a recall on the door locks, or any other Nissan parts, but have been told "no."
2. The front passenger leather seat no longer heat up in the winter.

The 05 Maxima is indeed a great buy.
The amount of technical engineering that went into this car is obvious.
The 3.5 V6 delivers about 265 hp, 310 hp with an air intake modification (highly recommended).
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Nissan Maxima?
The front grille is a mess. Nissan put all this hard work into the maxima and then botched it up at the grille. I hate it. I replaced mine with a mesh insert.

struts have problems sometimes and the cv axcles too and the boot but thats it
