Pros: What do you like about 2005 Nissan Murano?
Great power.
Interior seating room.
Dual climate control.
Memory seating positions.
So far the transmission is so smooth.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Nissan Murano?
More cargo room would be nice.
I'm fearful of when things are going to start needing service that it is going to be expensive. We bought what I hope is insurance against big repair bills, but you never know how good it is until you need it, and then it will probably be to late. We bought in oct. '11 with 50000 miles on it but it appears to have been well taken care of. Time will tell.
2005 Nissan Murano Review:
So far we love our Murano, I hope it lasts another 100,000 miles and 6 or more years, then it will have been a great buy!

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Nissan Murano?
It handles well, is very comfortable and easy to maintain.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Nissan Murano?
I would get better gas mileage, quieter ride, and less maintenance costs.
2005 Nissan Murano Review:
I have had a problem with the lock cylinder, it seems. It started when I would drive into the garage and not pull in straight. Then it just would not crank. It got steadily worse even though you could pull on the steering wheel and it would then crank. Later, it got to where you would have to have someone rock the car back and forth to get it to crank. Our Nissan dealer wants $891.39 just for the part to fix it and I think that is too much. I called customer service with no results. If it stops working I will just have to park it and drive my husband's old Jeep.

Pros: What do you like about 2005 Nissan Murano?
Good engine power.
Very roomy interior.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Nissan Murano?
Seat mount bracket broken @ 40K miles.
60K miles--upper oil pan assy repair=$1200.
Airbag light on due to bad impact module=$1900 fix!!!!
Front end ready for suspension components...haven't priced yet.
Don't think heart will handle right now! Way too expensive to maintain!

2005 Nissan Murano Review:
Overall a great crossover. Bought at 69000 kms for 25900$, a few days later the engine wouldn't start and we ended up having to replace the battery. It also had a rusty fuel cap which was easily fixed. After that absolutely no problems.
Have owned for about 6 months now.
