i like the look of the saturn because it reminds me of a altima(sort of).i like where the meter thing is located as well as the size. i do think the exterior could have been defined more because it is a nice car but it could look better.
Cons: How would you improve 2005 Saturn ION?
i would make the backseat be able to lift down so i can go in the trunk. I bought seat covers and it was so hard putting it on because i couldnt move the backseat. i would also take away the cloth seating and move the cup holder. it kind of gets in the way when i have a drink there while trying to put the car in park.

the 2005 saturn ion is my very first car. I love it overall (of course) because i always said i wanted an ion to be my first car but like i said, there is always room for improvement.

people, im an old country and i like old ford and chevy trucks. ive always driven something that could spin the tires pretty good. i bought an 05 ion 3 and think its a bad ass little ride. it has great power and handles great. with very few mods this car gets on down the road with ya.

Good gas mileage and runs well when not having a problem

Larger gas tank, more reliable electronics (engine control, body module) and more driver leg room.
2005 Saturn ION Review:
In 50K miles, I have had 2 body modules and 2 MAF sensors replace. The car is very good mechanically but Saturn did a poor job on the quality of the electronics.

This is my 1st Saturn. Dealer was excellent..no pressure. This car is so under rated by so-called experts.Excellent value and fun to drive. I get a lot of complements on styling too

2005 Saturn ION Review:
35-37 mpg on a recent trip from sea level to mountains through freeze and cold. The car handled it all suprebly.
It doesn't deserve the panning it gets from professional auto reviewers. People who actually own them love them.I've had mine since mile 1, and while it took some time to warm up to it, it's been a great car. Never a problem.
