Pros: What do you like about 2005 Toyota Tundra?
Bought 01/02/10.
Has all I could ask for - leather, moon/sun-roof, power is awesome and mpg very good even for a v-6. It's a v-8. I get 13.7 to over 14 in all 100% city. When on highway, I know I can get 19 to 20 at 60-65mph.
And I like the body style better than the new ones.

Cons: How would you improve 2005 Toyota Tundra?
The turning radius is a bit wide.
Had to buy sidesteps too.

2005 Toyota Tundra Review:
I lost my leg overseas and you see these trucks over there all over. They are bulletproof just like us.

2005 Toyota Tundra Review:
I've had problems with the 4WD banging when taking truck out of 4WD. The dealer replaced the front differential, axles, and transfer case. It will clunk occasionally now but nothing like it was. The brakes click and clack when initially backing up and applying them. Toyota main office told dealer they wouldn't do anything to fix it. Toyota sends regional "experts" to check these problems and they don't have much common sense or technical knowledge. I want to see an older guy with grease under his finger nails not window dressing. With all that said now that the 4WD is fixed I like the truck and plan on keeping it for a long time. It's my first Toyota. My Dodge 4WD never made the noises this one does.

2005 Toyota Tundra Review:
I have a 2000 Toyota Tundra and am fixing to replace the 5th oxygen sensor. I have called customer service with no results. I have also emailed with no results. There has to be something wrong with the sensors. They have replaced thousands from what I understand.
