Interior like the TT. Comfortable seats. Great shifting.
2006 Audi A3 Review:
Handles great! Quick response. Great mileage. Need more cars of this caliber. Got rid of my SUV. Audi should offer more engine option for this car as they do in Europe.

The front of the car looks Great, Back end is so so. Motor is exciting. Interior seems to be very well built, It feels like we are driving a 50k dollar car, for only 25k :)
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Audi A3?
All wheel drive version would be fun.
2006 Audi A3 Review:
We picked up our A3 last weekend and haven't stopped driving since!!! We went with the base model, No leather, 6 Speed. The only thing we wished we would of got is navigation, but we solved that with a dash mounted Tom Tom GPS unit.

Availability of convenience package - would be nice to have more pockets on back of seats.the car causes a potential few blind spots;

We were looking for a car that would be both practical and fun - and we found it. None of the competitors came close to the combination of fuel economy, great handling, fast acceleration, good looks, practical storage space, and overall fun in the upper 20s price range. All I can say is that we love this car - it's all about fahrvegnuggen!

DSG with paddle shifters and sports mode, Interior, luxury features (auto-wipers, auto-dimming mirror, and all of the other little touches...), BOSE stereo, exterior WOW factor!

Needs a full-size spare; power seat on passenger side; lines of the car causes a potential few blind spots;

I've driven quite a few high-end cars and this is my favorite. This car brings together the styling and quality of a luxury vehicle with the fun factor of a sports car. If you're in the market for a new car, you must test-drive the A3.

2006 Audi A3 Review:
I use to own a '83 Audi 4000s God I loved that car until it die with over 200k miles on it, ever since I wanted another audi but the A4 just did not appeal to me, now the A3 it just called my name and had to have it. Love the car is fast and agile and very convenient, I love the look on those BMW and SUV owners when they look at it with a gaze.

2006 Audi A3 Review:
Base trim. This is a great ride. Power always ready to go. DSG has best automatic program ever. Superb brakes. Real-world space for adults. Sticks to road like quattro. Superior fit and finish. Top-quality plastics and cloth. Nits: Watch the throttle in traffic. Power can come in a rush, you??re on the bumper of the car in front in no time. Body lean adds thrilling feel of danger in cornering. Low seat, roof, small glass = closed-in feeling. Boxy sounding stereo, radio reception among the worst. Fussy HVAC system if you want manual control. Shallow ??trunk', seats don't go flat. Surprising drivetrain and tire noise. Manual seat controls are pure 80??s econobox, laughable here.

Make the front chrome trim smaller. Sunroof noisy when open.
2006 Audi A3 Review:
Have mine for 6K miles. So far it's great. Tight ride, quick, the skylight opens the whole car up. The DSG trans is AWESOME. This coming from someone who hasn't owned an automatic for 20 years. Slight turbo lag in low (1st) gear but no problem in Sport or Manual mode. I don't see many on the road... this is a good thing.

2006 Audi A3 Review:
Drove lots of other cars & SUVs before trying the Audi A3. I was instantly sold on the fun and the solid feel of the car. For a small car, it packs a ton of pickup. Drives so easy! Lots of thoughtful features and styling in the interior.

Just 1 ..come on. Performance, fun factor, looks, DSG, interior. Ok pretty much the whole car.

the space between the foot feed and the brake pedal is a little close for me.
2006 Audi A3 Review:
After driving a BMW 3 series for 4 years and believing it was the only car to drive, what a breath of fresh air. I have discovered that thru brain washing of myself that there is a far better alternative regardless of how the magazines continue to rate the bmw. The little A3 out performs handle and is by far more fun to drive, and equipping the Bmw with the options I have on the Audi.....I save about $9,000. This truly is a great automobile.

My only complaint is interference between the armrest and the parking brake lever
