Pros: What do you like about 2006 Buick LaCrosse?
The front is very attractive. the car looks nice, but not flashy. The 3.8 is a great engine, and the seats are very comfortable.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Buick LaCrosse?
I like it the way it is.

2005 LaCrosse: Quiet, nicely designed interior. Beautiful exterior design & finish.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Buick LaCrosse?
Make the GM organization more user friendly. My 3.8 Liter V6 has used one Quart of oil every 1200 miles since the day it was new. GM couldn't care less. I'll never buy another GM product...I'll buy from communist China first.

Review?? Why did I buy the 2005 LaCrosse car in the first place? I knew better from my last GM product (oil issues, 35 years ago!).

This car is very quiet and well built. It is a very comfortable car for its size; but, it has excellent handling and driving character. It is a very good buy for the money.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Buick LaCrosse?
The red metallic paint may not be as resistant to normal weather and road conditions as other colors and the paint coatings on Toyotas.

This is an excellent automobile. It is a much better car than the Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima, or other Japanese cars. It is much quieter and much better built. It is not an old folks Buick.

First and foremost, the way it handles on winding roads...great fun! But, it's still a wonderful driving sedan....best of both worlds.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Buick LaCrosse?
The only thing I'm disappointed with to date is the lack of reception on AM radio. In all of my previous vehicles, there was no problem at all. In the LeCrosse, I've got to get about 5 miles from home before the station will come in clearly.
2006 Buick LaCrosse Review:
I love driving this car! On the freeway, it's like I'm being chauffered, but on turns and winding roads, it handles like a sports car. There are so many bells and whistles attached, that I spent my first weekend just reading and reviewing the manuals and CD's that came with it. I've always liked Buick vehicles, but until the LeCrosse came out, I thought I'd have to dye my hair silver-blue and move to Sun City Center because that's where all the LeSabre drivers were!

The remote starter is nice for cooling down the car in this excessive heat. Also nice in the winter for heating it.
2006 Buick LaCrosse Review:
I have had my CXL nearly a month and already have 1800 miles on it. I love it. This is a big improvement over the Regal (I had 3 previous Regals). The ride is much smoother and quieter. I was disappointed in the performance of the '03 Regal and found it rather noisy. After reading about the new design and engineering of the LaCrosse I just had to try it. After 1 long test drive I fell in love with it. Although I passed on the heated seats option, it is a nice feature. My only regret is that I didn't get the CXS model.

Add memory seat controls. Add DVD Navigation. Add active cruise control. It's wonderful.
2006 Buick LaCrosse Review:
The car features firm power seats for the passenger as well as the driver. They're trimmed in leather and have six-way power controls plus there is a lumbar seat adjustment. The insulation makes the car darned quiet! The CXL is the luxury version with the standard 17" aluminum wheels. It looks sleek and stylish, but iit's engine is the one that's become the best running model GM makes.

Handles extremly well around turns and in rainy weather. I'm only 5 feet 2 inches tall but with the power seat no problems at all.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Buick LaCrosse?
The only thing I would improve is the transmission in drive. It doesn't seem to flow easily in city driving. I don't accelerate quickly and it seems a little jerky and downshifts a lot on hills. When I put it in drive 3 it performs much better.
2006 Buick LaCrosse Review:
I have always loved a Buick since I purchased my first one in 1967. That Buick skylark was the best car I ever owned until this one. This has elegance and great handling at a very fair price. It really is a fun car to drive. I can't wait for my wife to ask me to do errands.(she doesn't drive).
