Nice looking.

Try to work on one - the front suspension was designed by an idiot, changing the shocks is a major undertaking, and the way they have the spring supported makes it next to impossible to compress it. Just look at it. A real mess.

Looks nice.
Handles well in the snow.
Heated seat option is great.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Buick Rainier?
Electrical items are terrible. My seat has been repaired 14 times now, documented several times now. The fuel gauge quit working after two years. They will fix it for $400 to $500 dollars nice after spending over 30k for a new car! The rear wiper motor quit after three years. Poorly built when it comes to the electrical. Oh door locks have been repaired several times also.
The fuel economy is poor in the city.
And yes the cup holders are a problem.
2006 Buick Rainier Review:
The drive train pops when making tight turns, and fuel economy is poor in the city. Electrical items are terrible. Looks are not everything. Avoid this vehicle.

I love the look and feel of my 2006 Ranier.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Buick Rainier?
Problems with rear end grease at 52000 miles replaced with expense of $495.00.... 8 months later started getting the same crunching sound in the rear end... Took it back in... They added another shot of additive... Seems ok now, but I don't trust it... It now has 67,000... Anyone else with this experience?

The looks,the smooth ride, the get up and go, handles great(except on windy days) turns really sharp makes getting into tight places a snap, sits high enough off the ground I don't have to worry about the "boulders" on my country road
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Buick Rainier?
Need more cup holders and they need to be in a more convienent place than in front of the gear shift, need to get better gas mileage with the high price of gas like it is,needs to handle wind better. Also need bigger mirrors to handle the blind spots.
2006 Buick Rainier Review:
I've owned 3 buick cars before the rainier and really liked them all, I think the lesabre is probably the best all round car on the road, However I needed a suv to get me higher off the ground and the rainer was just the vehicle I needed. I love it, and now that I've been driving it and it handles and drives so good, I just can't see me going back to a car. This has the comfort of a car with the toughness of a suv. It's really great!

2006 Buick Rainier Review:
Overall a nice truck. Looks good and handles well. VERY quiet ride. Gas milage is decent enough. No problems at all at this time.

Luxurious, leather seats , both front seats power, memory settings for seats and mirrors for 2 drivers, good hwy mileage, smooth and quiet ride, better than trailblazers or envoy. Love it.

Of all the SUV's I test drove, I felt the Rainer gave you the best value. A lot of SUV's with same type of ammenties do not have the substantial feel, the quiet or smooth ride. I've only owned it for a week, but so far I love it.
