My car looks nice.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt?
Fix the following:
Seats are not comfortable.
The air conditioning is broke already.
Three recalls.
Front end of car shakes.
Problem with getting key out sometimes.
Car ride ruff.
The seat fabric is awful es it hard to clean seats.
Already had some kind of electrical problem and had to have the heater replaced.
2006 Chevrolet Cobalt Review:
This is a crappy car.
This is the worst new car I have ever bought from Chevy. All my cars have been Chevy's and up till now have been great. I have a prism at home with 250,000 miles and the air works great on this car. This was a very well made car few repairs needed. Still runs like a champ. Will buy from someone else next time. I can't believe I have seen so many complaints about the air conditioning and no recall. Really !!!!

The style of the car. The Coupes are very nice and look great...

The interior is not that great but then again I do only have the LS version. I'm sure the SS are a lot nicer inside.

If I were to purchase another Cobalt it would be and SS/TC. I love my car...so far...knock on wood.

I would get rid of the Cobalts and start fresh - they are horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2006 Chevrolet Cobalt Review:
I bought my car 2 years ago (used) - and pretty much for the last yr. and a half had nothing but problems.
-Replaced struts
-Rotors twice
-Brakes twice
-The gas light would come on every time it got to approx. quarter of a tank
-When windshield wipers are on intermittent after a while they just continue to go as if they were set on reg. wipe
-The pin in the gear shifter sticks and can't remove keys from ignition
-The paint on the exterior is chipping
-And now the air conditioner died. it will cost $1000. for parts and labor
-This car SUCKS!!!!!!!!!
NEXT CAR WILL BE A DODGE OR NISSAN - would not recommend this vehicle to anyone.

Like the power it has to go fast and easy to handle.
Nice body style.
Access to stereo controls and cruise control on steering wheel.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt?
First the air conditioning has some problems.
Warranty on exterior paint.
Install a better cd and odometer display.
Too intermittent in display availability.
2006 Chevrolet Cobalt Review:
After only 4 years the paint glaze is gone and my cobalt is almost white instead of black. Really embarrassing and ugly to look at. Dealership not complying to a recall when I called about one. Other recalls were done with no problem. CD player upgrade would be nice, mine no longer ejects the cd easily.

2006 Chevrolet Cobalt Review:
The Cobalt is junk. Bought ours brand new with less than 1k miles on it, liked it for about 3 weeks before coming to the realization that the car is terrible. It's been nothing but problems and a money pit.. Issues include, doors locks getting stuck whether you're in or out of the car. Manual tranny is losing reverse after 50k miles. Air conditioner spits water out vents on hot days. Serious vibrations while driving. Weak brake rotors. Sunroof leaks. Factory rims bend when tires go flat...I could continue but honestly just writing about how bad this car is makes me want to have a heart attack, as a heart attack would be more enjoyable than the Chevy Cobalt...Dear GM, way to make a horrid replacement for the reliable Cavalier. I sincerely hope you have to recall every Cobalt ever made, and furthermore, I truly hope you continue to lose billions a year and eventually go bankrupt because with cars like the Cobalt, you deserve it. Ford / Foreign maker, here I come.

42mpg on Freeway at 65mph.
Front is roomy.
Looks great.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt?
Not Enough space in back seat.
Trunk is big but the opening is small.
Interior is made of cheap plastic and cheap fabric.
Too many recalls but Chevy paid for them so I'm not stressing it.
Crappy air conditioning.
Bad hubcaps.
2006 Chevrolet Cobalt Review:
I actually think this car is not as bad as everyone says it is. It gets great gas mileage and it's perfect size for my wife and me, but the back seat is small for when we take friends out.
Chevy paid for the fuel pump to be fixed as well as the power steering box.
I would like a better interior. The fabric is pealing around the door handles and the plastic scratches easily.
If you are going to buy any model buy the LT. We settled for the LS and the stereo isn't all that great. Not that I care.
I also wish the air conditioning would blow a little harder.
I still love this car though.

2006 Chevrolet Cobalt Review:
Bought a new 2006 cobalt in feb 2007. So far so good. After warranty expires, started to leak oil from the lower pan inside the engine. Took it to the dealer and they say the silicone that seals the pan is WORN OUT, and my car wan NEVER involved in any kind of wreck, I only use it to go to work (5 miles from home :p)... Now they're asking me for $1.500 to put back the silicone... Now I'm still wondering WHY ON EARTH I have to pay for some manufacturer operator mistake who didn't do his job when sealing dang pan??? Chevrolet doesn't give a sh**... I'd like to know if this happened to anyone because I feel I'm the only one with this problem. I won't ever buy any other Chevrolet. Hello Dodge and Ford!!!!

2006 Chevrolet Cobalt Review:
I'd had my 2006 Cobalt for less than two years and the first time I had to break hard to keep from hitting someone that turned in front of me, my car went to crap after that day! Every time I would turn, I heard this popping noise. So I took it to the dealership. They had to replace the steering column, steer rack and pinion, AND steering rod! They actually told me that they have never seen or had to replace a steer rack and pinion in one of these cars ever. That made me feel real great about my car. My opinion, don't buy one.

2006 Chevrolet Cobalt Review:
First no protection on the oil pan - hit item on a blind turn and the oil dumped and locked up the engine, new engine put in 2008.
Second, hub caps rattle.
Third, shocks have been replaced 2 times, sway bars replaced 2 times, exhaust rattles, very noisy car going down the road, heater in it just sucks, air sucks.
There isn't anything I have good to say about Chevy, but what does it matter. Chevy won't do anything about the problems. Went out and bought a Honda -2006 Chevy Cobalt for SALE CHEAP less then 45000 miles on it.

Too noisy - feels like my windows are down.
Sits low.
Tires are not good.
Shakes sometimes when braking. The company needs to recall to check front end brake system.
The doors on booth sides feel like air is coming in - poor insulation.
2006 Chevrolet Cobalt Review:
The car was fine the first year or two, but now it has some serious problems with the front end shaking.
