Pros: What do you like about 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?
Nice interior.
Comfortable seats.
Great exterior fit and finish.
Nice ride.
I really like the fact that my wife loves it and it keeps her out of my truck.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?
Rearward visibility could be improved. I don't personally have a problem with it but my wife is 5' 1" and cannot see anything out back.
More horsepower would be nice as this is a heavy vehicle for its size and struggles a bit climbing steep hills.
I see several complaints regarding fuel economy but we average 19.9 mpg with combined city/hwy driving.

Quiet ride....
Fairly good gas mileage...
Very roomy interior.
Comfortable seats.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?
BLIND SPOTS. VERY DANGEROUS. I installed a back-up camera, but I don't think it does much good. The rear side and back windows seemed to be designed for a 'sleek look' and not for safety. They are much too small to be able to see if anyone is coming up in the next lane, and the back window is up too high and makes it hard to be sure there is nothing in the way. VERY difficult to back in a parking space. Have to rely on side mirrors, which is still dangerous. This appears to be a very important design flaw.
Also, I had a lot of problems with the ABS and the brakes in general. Finally got it fixed.
2006 Chrysler Pacifica Review:
If I didn't have the problem with the blind spots, I would be more than happy with this car. Obviously, nothing can be done to improve it, so I am looking to trade it in.

The brakes have a big issue.
Does anyone else have a problem with the brakes?
Is there a recall on them?
2006 Chrysler Pacifica Review:
The electric driver seat motor does not work correctly, have had it replaced once.
The Brakes are the biggest complaint I have against the car.
I had to hit a tree in low gear to go around a corner, as the abs brakes will only over compensate on a type of slick roads.

Its looks, size, utility, and ride.
I get 24mpg on the freeway at 75mph with a 3.5L V-6 and AWD.
It drives and handles very well, and accelerates well also.
It is very comfortable for road trips.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?
A little better mileage would help, and I've had a problem with the lift gate not stopping at the top.
2006 Chrysler Pacifica Review:
I've loved the looks since I first saw it. And there's room for my gear to haul safely, plus the seats and comfort for 4-6 people, cruising down the road. I haven't had most of the problems I hear about, and I've had it for 2 years and driven 40K miles. I really like it, so far.

The power lift gate and convenience of a cross over.
It is a nice looking car and is very roomy and makes a good family vehicle.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?
There are too many problems with the vehicle, electrical and mechanical. I just came out of a three year warranty and only have 37,000 miles on the vehicle and repairs are now coming up that cost $1000 or more. The reclining seat on the driver's side, headlights, and a tire rod had to be replaced.
2006 Chrysler Pacifica Review:
This car was too expensive and considering the cost, I wish the warranty would have been extended to at least 50,000 miles. This is disappointing.

All I can say is wow! Exceptional design, very roomy, ton of not-so-standard features are in fact standard in the Limited, which I own.
Three kids all in carseats, and it's very easy to get in to for the most part.
Handles very well, brakes well, feel like safety met luxury and the hit it off...

A little more get up and go, and better fuel economy, which I think is effected by the need for stronger acceleration from stopped. Still, 18 mpg in a vehicle this size is solid.
Second row seating would benefit from a collapsible headrest when folding to enter the third row..

I love the seating, they are the most comfortable I have ever been in.
The look of it, I think is higher end.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler Pacifica?
The gas mileage sucks and the acceleration is horrible. I have owned it for 3 months and it has been in the shop twice, finally fixed (bad lifters) but now it sounds louder when I accelerate (maybe the exhaust). I am overall sad and think I need to unload this and quick. It also took Chrysler 4 days to get a part to the dealer to repair it.
I had my heart set on really enjoying this purchase and I am sort of disappointed.

I love having plenty of space for my family. It rides sooo smooth on the highway. I've had it for 3mths now. I've always wanted one and I'm glad I chose it. My friends/family love it, especially the RED!
