Pros: What do you like about 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
I own a 2.4HO turbo. FAST. Feels solid.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
Better fuel mileage (average 17-18 MPG).
Reliability.
2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser Review:
Good car @ 9000 miles. Horrible car at 34000 miles. Runs poorly, rough idle, dies at sharp turns, tires replaced and front bushings wore out, oil being sucked into air cleaner, ticking sound from top of engine, rock chip on front bumper started small turned into 50-cent-piece size, 17 MPG average. will not consider another Chrysler.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
The sporty design and wheel covers.
The hatchback cover is great and affords lots of storage.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
The seats tend to be hard and are not very comfortable during long trips.
No arm rest in the back seat.
This is a great car for in-town driving.
2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser Review:
Overall, a great car and well worth the price I paid for it. I have owned it for about 18 months, and haven't had any problems other than the dealer wouldn't provide but one key. Replacement keys costs about $227.00.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
Love the retro look and the easy maneuvering around traffic.
The interior is nicely set up, great visibility when driving, enjoy driving my 06 PT cruiser on long road trips..
Handles awesome in snow covered roads.
I have had her since Oct 2008 will not trade this car for anything!!!
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
Better fabric protection on the seats (i.e. water spots).
2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser Review:
As mentioned I just love this car, test drove those Chev HHR's and I did not like it as there is no head room and felt very cramped - PT Cruisers have got them all beat in head and leg room and comfort, great fuel mileage as far as I am concerned. Handles well in cornering and no mechanical problems as of yet- and yes I do think the center clock is a nice retro look.

Just adore the clock in the center of the dash..just like the olden days...
Love the old Chrysler Emblem.
Good trunk space also.

A little more pep. and also have an ashtray in the car. There are still smokers driving cars. LOL LOL.
2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser Review:
I just love the car, always wanted a P.T. Cruiser, the problem I'm having with this car is Overdrive going into the limp mode all the time...or I stop at a light and the motor starts to shake like it's going to stall. Or I'm driving at 80 kilometers an hour revving 2000 rpm's all of a sudden the car just starts to lurch ..won't go like it's missing..all of a sudden it catches and takes OFF like a Bat out of Hell..the car has been into Chrysler, changed the Cam sensor..car still doing it..they say (Chrysler) not much we can do for it doesn't code. Anyone having the same PROBLEM with there P.T. Cruiser???? Please let me know at emeryjamess at hotmail.com.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
Great exterior design and I like how compact it is. You can whip this thing in anywhere. The AC is cold as ice and love the sunroof.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
Gas mileage should be better for such a small and powerless car. Every time I am accellerating, I wish I were on a downhill slope so I can get up to speed quicker.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
I liked the exterior retro design. Purchased from Enterprise car sales so it all ready had 4600. miles on it. My friends called it "The Munsters Car". The little clock in the middle of the dash is a nice touch. The air conditioner worked great on a hot and humid day.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
Too many blind spots. Difficult to see if other cars are about to pass you. This is very dangerous. Difficult to set the mpg gauge. Never got it to go right. The covering on the seats stain with just a drop of water or a spill of coffee.
Needs rear brakes soon. The oil pan gasket had a leak. The shifter for the auto transmission stuck in park needed an extra pull to get it into drive. The floor cars Accelerator is larger than the brake pedal which created an accident. Stepped on the accelerator rather than the brake and totaled the car. I was pulling into my parking spot where I live and this resulted in me jumping the curb and crashing into a solid tree. Car tipped over the curb and rammed the tree but I got out with out any injury. I can imagine how high my new auto insurance is going to be.. Since the car was deemed "totaled" I managed to pull myself out the drivers side window which was smashed with out any injury. So The car is safe in a bad accident. The air bags never popped out in this crash with a tree.
2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser Review:
I would not buy this car ever. I was paying it off at 220.17 dollars a month. The insurance company is paying it off but I did not have Gap insurance and I am not sure yet what I will have to pay. Right now I am searching for a good reliable car. I just use it 2 days a week to go from Huntington to Hicksville, and for some shopping and post office and library visits.

Interior is nicely done.
Quite ride.
Stylish design.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
Remove the center window controls.
Increase fuel mileage.
Relocate the Info center and trip odometer buttons- very awquqrd to get to.
Steering wheel radio controls.
2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser Review:
Never had a PT before this one and I like and hate it if one can be allowed to do that. I love the exterior design and the interior lay out of the car. It has a nice quite ride and is comfertable. However, ive taken mine back to the dealer 2 times for noteable vibration on the drivers side between 45-55 mph. They have aligned front end and balanced tires. Dealer claims there is nothing wrong with the vehicle and all PT's drive that way.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
I like the outside styling, getting in and out of the car, ability of it to get around easily tight corners parking etc.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
Put the armrest back on both front seats
Modify the door pockets to have different compartments
Add a courtesy lights to the console area, glove box light, map lights standard
Make the dimmers switch like the older cars just pull to change instead of the Push pull I keep flicking my lights when I dim them
2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser Review:
Overall an excellent small car, gas mileage should be better for such a small car like the Neon is. Styling is great and there are numerous accessories for it.
