Pros: What do you like about 2006 GMC Envoy?
The sporty body style and turn radius is very good.
The truck comes in 4WD.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 GMC Envoy?
Interior material is very cheap.
Engine problems with surpetine belt broke at 55,000 miles and fuel tank sensor malfunctioning.
Over priced and poor gas mileage.
2006 GMC Envoy Review:
It's a good truck but I just started driving it more and it has poor gas mileage when driving locally. If you can keep the mileage under 15,000 a year, it will last longer.

Lots of road noise through front windows.
Stiffer suspension for cornering.
2006 GMC Envoy Review:
This car has had every component extensively repaired, except the rear end, including 2 complete brake jobs in under 150,000 km. I have owned a 1995 4wd Sierra since new, with the exception of the paint falling off, it has been a great truck. Very disappointed with the reliability of the Envoy.

Nice ride, fun to drive.

Better gaskets around rear windows.Also improve black trim pieces around side windows mine bubbled up replaced under warranty and new ones are doing it 1 week later.Uses as much fuel as my v8 tahoe.
2006 GMC Envoy Review:
I still like the truck but it is a pain to get these things fixed and be without a vehicle.

The 6 cylinder engine is some what smooth. decent power.Bose sound system with XM radio.

Interior materials need improving. You can tell where GM cut corners, sticker price way too high.Getting the truck fixec right the first time.
2006 GMC Envoy Review:
Bought new in 2006, truck has 13,000 miles, the fuel pump is getting very noisey, inside door panels coming apart. Not what I expected for a truck costing well over 35,000 dollars.
