Pros: What do you like about 2006 Honda Civic?
Pretty much everything. The great gas mileage, space-age interior design, the dash displays and digital speedometer and large windshield. The windshield wipers are unique with the outward wiping pass design, does a better job than the standard type wipers. The displays blue color is quite nice especially in the dark. The complete redesign of the exterior is a huge improvement from the boxy look of previous models. Improved also is the power and the acceleration from the previous model.

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Honda Civic?
As with other reviewers, the stereo could be better. Even with six speakers, I expected more. I also agree that while the E-brake is sleek in design and it's look, the location is awkward in that it does jab you in the knee. Especially while in cruise control while the leg is in a rested position. The roof support struts on the sides of the windshield do make a blind spot, but the little windows in the corner help to see better in that area.

2006 Honda Civic Review:
I feel this is the best Civic ever. This is my fifth Honda in 24 years, which consisted of three Civics and two CRX's. Hondas are all I've ever owned because of they're incredible reliability. I had a 2002 Civic and this is a huge improvement. The sleek exterior, the space-age cockpit style interior and instrumentation are incredible looking. The ride is much smoother than my older model and the acceleration is quicker. I've never had a car this nice before so quite frankly, I feel like I'm driving a luxury car that just so happens to get an average of 35 miles per gallon. It's another true triumph from Honda and just plain fun to drive!

Fix the rear suspension so that it doesn't chew up tires and make hideous noise while driving.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Honda Civic?
I needed new break pads at 8,000 miles and 16,000 miles , this is ridiculous. Per internet research there are others with break problems. this is the first Honda I bought, and this was rated highly by consumer reports. I will never buy another honda, I am so disappointed. The dealer replaced them free at 8000 miles but it is now out of warranty and will cost 200 for new break pads, and the rotors are starting to wear.I will never buy another honda. Poway california.

2006 Honda Civic Review:
I have 31,000 miles on my and I am have shock absorber problems for the second time . The last time was at 15,000 miles and rear tires were bald both times, very discusted. This is my 7th brand new Honda since 1990. Love Honda's, but this ex has issues

Disaster rear suspension that wears out (cups)rear tires in 25k miles

2006 Honda Civic Review:
Despite re-alignment, had rear hub bearing go out but still the rear suspension cups tires. On second set in 36K miles!!!! Wouldn't buy another or recommend it to anyone.
