this hybrid drives very nice, but the actual fuel mileage isn't what the sticker says prior to purchasing.

Blue tooth connectivity for cell phones BUT there is a 5 second delay after you answer a call before the caller can hear you speak. Also the backup camera is clear with a great pic BUT it would be nice to also have the beep tones like the LS430 as you really don't watch the display when you backup.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Lexus RX 400h?
Get better mileage. More headroom for the front seats (they should move down further).
2006 Lexus RX 400h Review:
The vehicle performs well is comfortable but the mileage is not near the numbers that Lexus indicates. We get about 22 miles per gallon overall (we have not checked highway verses city but drive city about 60% of the time). Also, they should provide the wood interior as an option as only the silver was available so we had to pay for wood trim to be added (Lexus installed an aftermarket wood kit).

2006 Lexus RX 400h Review:
I live on Kauai and gas is super expensive. I've learned to coast while driving my lexus using the electric engine efficiently. I've gone 200 miles and hardly used any fuel. This car is a dream in comfort and a real fuel saver... it pays in the long run for economy... go get your own !!!

Favorite features include the numerous ways to open the back hatch. I automatic adjustable side mirrors are wonderful.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Lexus RX 400h?
I have only owned this vehicle for just over a month and so far I can find no areas where improvements could be made.
2006 Lexus RX 400h Review:
This vehicle is not only green and gas efficient but it is also fun to drive. I am short and this car easily adjusts to my driving comfort. There are no shortage of luxury features. Steering is relaxed and easy, nav system is excellent, and comfort is outstanding. I find the visibility to be good, with fewer blind spots than my last SUV. Lexus appears to done everything right with the vehicle.

they should add XM radio. I would also like to see ventilated seats like the GS300
2006 Lexus RX 400h Review:
I owned a 2004 RX330. Lexus has not changed much in the area of style which is a good thing. The highest millage I have seen is 31mpg. My average is 27.6 mpg. The power is great. I do find myself driving with more sense trying to get the best MPG which is also a good thing.

2006 Lexus RX 400h Review:
Although the 400h is very comfortable and fun to drive it, is not as promised as far as the mileage is concerned. I'm getting 21 miles a gallon and I do mostly city driving. I use my car for work that's why I got a hybrid to save money. Unless they correct this I would not recommend if your goal is to save on gas.

nav system, tilt away steering wheel and Levinson sound system and of course the Vista Lexus dealership, fast pick up and quite ride

more storage and space for a purse and cell phone. Better mileage as promised. Need to improve rear visability and easier to use nave system. For the nav you should allow a passenger to input information instead of making the driver pull over
2006 Lexus RX 400h Review:
This is my 3rd lexus. Going from my RX 300 to the 400h was a natural move. I am disappointed in the mileage and the fit of the driver seat. I also am having a bad time with the big blind spots on both sides rear. Compared to all of my other SUV's ( I have had many), I feel like I am looking through a tunnel when using the rear window. I do not trust the mirrors and when you try to turn around to look, you only see the interior post. There is no place to put my purse! There is no place to put coins or my phone! Except for those issues, the car drives beautifuly and I love the "greeness" of it. The aluminum interior is very attractive and green and I love the nav system.

Nice amenities - navigation, sound system make for a luxurious drive. Car reasonably comfortable and peppy.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Lexus RX 400h?
More comfortable seats. Greater rear visibility. More candid Lexus dealer.
2006 Lexus RX 400h Review:
Traded in BMW X5 for the Lexus. Handles well; front seats less comfortable than BMW. Nice nav system. Rear blind spot not helped by camera which has distortion. When I picked up car, alesman told me "just learned" I should use premium gas - and not to expect decent mileage until at least 5,000 miles. Rear seats recline (slightly) - nice feature, but reduces already small cargo space. No light in small glove compartment and no logical place for loose change. Sound system much better than BMW. Very quiet drive and excellent acceleration. No wood makes car stark.

good gas mileage plus power; Bluetooth for cell phone hands free; backup camera on dash; electric tailgate lift and close. These are the best of a long list.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Lexus RX 400h?
Make it optional electic plug-in/charge for super extended gas mileage (50-80 MPG). Its do-able! PS. I am not a dealer or related to one! My last car was a BMW 540i, and was the best ever I used to think!
2006 Lexus RX 400h Review:
Amazing grace! It has everything, luxury, mileage, and pick up! Every gadget and comfort. Like Bentley or RR started over and built the best SUV they could ever imagine, and outdid themselves. I am second in line (here in FL) for the new Lexus GS 430 with Hybrid technology coming out next spring. All Lexus will have Hybrid engine by end of 2007. All auto makers will have to run to catch up!

2006 Lexus RX 400h Review:
The Lexus Rx400h is a great car. Nice interior, comfy seats and I love the power liftgate. The 4-month wait for us was worth it! It has a lot of power and is very fuel efficient. We love it and would recommend it any day. Toyota/Lexus's build quality and reliability is great! We look at all other Mid-Size Luxury SUVs and found this to be the best, and it is!
