Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mazda MPV?
Good looking. Always runs well. Lots of room for a little car. Good fuel econ. Drives pretty sporty for a box with wheels.

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mazda MPV?
Carpet and interior are very bad quality. Nice to have a five speed, but it is not smooth. Rides like it has skatboard trucks and not radial tires and a "modern suspension." Fit and finish of body parts could be better.

2006 Mazda MPV Review:
If you have to drive a van, this is not a bad pick. It is smaller, a little more sporty, dependable and good looking. Just expect to arive at your destination with coffee on your shirt from the rough ride and a raspy voice from trying to talk over the synphony of interior noises.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mazda MPV?
compact size for 7 passenger; roll down middle windows; great defroster system

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mazda MPV?
better suspension; rides like an old farm truck; production standards seemed to have slipped in the 06; things break more easily.

2006 Mazda MPV Review:
The ride is horrible; very bumpy; took to dealer multiple times, but they found nothing wrong with it. This is my 3rd MPV, so I know this is not the ride I have received historically. Also, lots of wind noise from the luggage rack this time around. Again a new problem only found in this model

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mazda MPV?
The way the seats easily fold down, or come out. It is easy to pick up large items. The ride is very smooth, and visibility is great. The rear air is WONDERFUL! It cools down fast. The kids don't fight easy because the seats are separated in the middle row. That alone is worth it.

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mazda MPV?
FIX THE TRANSMISSION! Stop telling everyone you can't repeat the problem, so you won't fix it. Does Mazda even drive this van? HELLO! If they did, they could fix it! I think they are just to CHEAP to repair the problem.

2006 Mazda MPV Review:
All the Mazda's have a problem with the transmission where it feels like you got hit by another car. It's the transmission shifting. It only happens every few months, but they won't fix the problem. The gas mileage is lower than they say at 19 mpg with part highway and part in town. If it is all freeway, and you drive 60 or less, you can get 24 mpg. I got that once. Overall I love the van, but the gas is too expensive now, so I'm selling. No other problems have ever occurred, and I have 24,000 miles.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mazda MPV?
Style and seating. Over all power. I am a big guy and I have no issues with sitting in the middle. The back is a whole other story. I have never been there.

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mazda MPV?
Smoother transmission. Longer body. Plusher driver and passenger seats. Shorter shifter knob. It blocks your console view. I have found that a bit dangerous.

2006 Mazda MPV Review:
We looked at every other van on the market and for the price it was a great buy. Plus Mazda is willing to cut a deal to get you in one of their cars. We paid well under the listed price for this van. The power is great for a 3.0L vehicle of this size. The transmission is a bit slow to respond; that would be my only complaint. But not many of the vans we tried responded like a race car. We spent a week in the Sierras driving on and even a little off-road (mostly fire roads) and had no issues. With a family of 6 we would have liked the van to be a little longer to store more equipment. But it worked. Great style and power for $10,000 less than the Honda.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mazda MPV?
Styling, price, audio & cruise control on steering wheel, longer warranty than competitors.

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mazda MPV?
Better interior materials (seats lack support, standard Homelink and compass on rear view mirror.

2006 Mazda MPV Review:
i got the LX-SV for less than $18k out the door. It's not as comfy as the Sienna but for the price it will do. Took it on a few 2 hour rides and no complaints so far. The gas mileage is average for a van. Handling is decent with good road feel (unlike other vans). A basic Sienna without side airbags would have cost about $5k more. The transmission has felt fine so far.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mazda MPV?
Looks, roll down windows in sliding doors, power sliding doors, and the leather seats.

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mazda MPV?
A more ergonomic design for the gear selector. It is in front of the radio volume control when in drive. I guess I'm just picky since there are volume controls on the steering wheel also.

2006 Mazda MPV Review:
Loaded with features at an awesome price. 17" wheels, leather, moonroof, 6 disc CD changer, dual air, roll down rear windows, power sliding doors, and more. My gas mileage on the highway has been 26.5 mpg consistently. It is garageable in a single car garage.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mazda MPV?
Last seat row that folds into the floor. Sliding seat (second row). Decent acceleration, good gas mileage in normal driving condition. Back seat air conditioning controls (a must in summer heat). Rear door windows.

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mazda MPV?
Standard roof rack (please). Auxiliary input for MP3 players. Auto shut-off front light system. Rear bumper radar system for better parking maneuvers. Central control for all the interior lamps. Better protected spare tire space (very messy when you have to change a tire).

2006 Mazda MPV Review:
Excellent and good looking vehicle, no major problem as of today. Good handling, braking is average in winter conditions and the windshield seems to be a problem (had to be changed twice - cracked by small rocks impacts). You should consider buying a rear step protector because the paint can be easily scratched when loading or unloading from the cargo bay. Too bad that Mazda want to replace it with a cross-whatever vehicle (Mazda 7).

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mazda MPV?
Volume control on steering wheel and fold down holder in between driver and passenger.

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mazda MPV?
Make the driver seat electric adjustment rather than manual.

2006 Mazda MPV Review:
I just bought a new 2006 Mazda LX-SV and love it. The way it drives and handles, the look and layout of the seats. I love that the 2 middle seats can be close or apart from each other. It handles very nicely and comfortable to sit in.
