Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mitsubishi Galant?
We were looking for a second car and out budget was $10,000.
The 2006 Honda Accord and Nissan Altima were expensive like hell. Since Toyota are being recalled, we didn't bother to look for one.
We looked and looked and almost gave up until we found this 2006 Galant ES. With only 45,000 miles, we only paid $9,800 out-the-door.
The handling was fantastic, especially on curves and the 2.4L engine delivers just the right power for streets and highway driving.
The look was great and the size is right for someone who stands 5'11" like me. I tried sitting in the back and I had plenty of headroom.
Oh, it even comes with an MP3/CD player and 6-speaker system.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mitsubishi Galant?
The interior is too "plastic" and hi-tech look for an older guy like me. It may suit younger consumers but and probably should give a face lift in order to attract older buyers.
But for me, this is still a great car because it fits our budget; it's built solid so it should be good for another 100,000 miles for us.

We (yes, wife, too) love the car and we've been parking our bimmer in the garage since we picked it up four days ago. Test drive it and you'll love it. We did.

Bought mine for $8,000 with only 18,000 miles on it, and couldn't find anything close to this for that price.
Dependable vehicle with lots of room inside.
Infinity stereo system rocks!
I have the 4 cyl ,but it moves when you need it to!

Gas mileage isn't the greatest for a 4 cyl.
Rear crash rating is not the greatest.

The inside is beautiful, and there is so much breathing room for a small car.
Huge trunk!
3 point buckles in every seat

So affordable and not taking away from style, comfort and a nice ride.
Car is so roomy. My sister made the remark that it was too small for our family of five. She sat in the back seat and quickly changed her mind. Way more roomier than a 2005 Lincoln Ls that I am so glad I did not spend my money on.

The interior does look a little cheap but for the money I can't complain.
2006 Mitsubishi Galant Review:
Only had it one day but I have shopped for a car for 4 months test driving everything and best car for your money. I got an 06 for 7200 with only 51k miles on it. I love it. I will update if necessary but for a budget conscious buyer who wants like they say both of best worlds here it is. Watching the mpg not sure if its as advertised. Will update.

-2.4 L model has a good engine, yet still quiet.
-Interior has a good look and feel to it (enhanced by tints [not included]).
-STRONG>and CHEAP to repair>after an impact with a taxi writing the taxi off, the Galant only suffered a 150 dollar bumper and a 60 dollar absorber.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mitsubishi Galant?
-No standard transmission.
-No sunroof.
-Wish 2.4L trim had the front lights of 3.5L trim.
-The interior headboard needs re-upholstery.
-No alloy rims (hubcaps).
2006 Mitsubishi Galant Review:
-Good car, impresses and delivers even at the base trim, for a cheap price and easy repairs, this car is great for all around use, though I may have customized my own (tints, rims, sound system) the factory model still delivers.
There are better cars out there for this same price, but standing out in a Toronto grid lock in this Galant, comfortable in your driver seat, it just makes city driving a little easier.

The GTS is fast, handles well and is not a "cookie cutter" design like the others.
