Pros: What do you like about 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer?
2006 Lancer sportback ls a very reliable car - 2.4 liter, 162 hp.
Rear has lots of cargo room.
Decent mileage for size of car.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer?
Not sure. I'am happy with it.
2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Review:
Car has 180000km on it - have had regular oil changes, battery replaced, one tie rod and that's it. It will need a tuneup soon. Best car I have owned in my 30 years of driving.

Great gas mileage.
Very reliable as long as you take care of it properly.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer?
Interior is bland and boring on the ES/LS models.
2.0L 4G94 engine is peppy, but underpowered.
Small gas tank.
2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Review:
It's a decent looking car. I have an ES model with factory spoiler (that helps in the looks department). Reliable, great gas mileage. Having a 5-speed helps squeeze ever little bit of power out of the underpowered engine.
Overall it's a great daily driver that won't let you down but don't expect many thrills.

Add the temp thing so you know what the temperature is outside & inside...& make the clock a little more readable during the day.

I like it. It drives well. Is comfortable and gas milage is good. I love the head lights and rear light design. Horn could be louder.

2003 Lancer zippy, enough power to pull out and go in traffic. decent carrying capacity, lots of trunk space. Model could be a few inches wider with more leg room in front for tall passengers and drivers. Very manuverable and parkable. Get a lot of dings, maybe some side protection. Love the steering wheel. Overall, satisfied with Mitsubishi products, Have had 1987 mighty max truck, 1993 mighty max trk, 1990 mit. Galant, and 2003 Lancer. All still operational except 1990 Galant, sold to someone several years ago, the timing belt finally went, killing the engine. That shouldn't happen to a car!!!!
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer?
clock and instrument panel can not be seen in daylight. CD/radio, constant overheating problem, cruise control needs to be standard. Wiper blades same "standard" length. Better buttock support, mid-thigh, not flat seats, or if flat, take away side supports, make you sit in one spot (limits movement) too long--not good on long trips. Transmission has always whined out, told by technician when under warrenty that this was normal--I believe this is a lie! Clutch/accelerator cable noise for over a year (annoying) our 1990 Mit. Galant also had this problem. Timing belts a nuisance and too expensive to change for the price range of car--poor people can't afford to maintain. How about going back to a timing chain--that doesn't break and kill your engine. My old Mit MMax truck has one, and it still runs fine. 108,000 miles later 1987.
