Pros: What do you like about 2006 Pontiac Vibe?
For a small car, it does alright. On a scale of 100, it's about a 95.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Pontiac Vibe?
In the winter, the wheels or rims keep filling up with snow and when you drive on the highway the wheels shake. Have to keep the wheels clean and bring the car to the garage to clean in the back of the wheels every so often.

Never had a problem with the car till today. Seems it won't go to speed. Have to start it over again to make it go. Going to take it in to Pontiac dealer.
Good gas mileage from the car and good riding car, but won't go. And hard starting up. It is the computer system, so they said to me from auto palace.

Does not need improving car. Looks ok and runs good for me.

The way it handles.
The ride.

Cons: How would you improve 2006 Pontiac Vibe?
Road noise; lack of compass or temp gauge on mirror, information panel, lack of volume and other controls on steering wheel, lack of power seats although the drivers side is adjustable.
Car should have larger tires to absorb road noise, needs a telescoping steering wheel, and a taller center console.
I would also install a clothes rod in the rear for hanging clothes while traveling.
2006 Pontiac Vibe Review:
We bought this care new, and basically love it. However after 50k+ miles of driving there are the above changes I would make. This is one GREAT car. Shame that GM needed to go to bed with Toyota to make it happen. Surely GM could have done this on its own.

Cargo space and the way the seats fold down flat.
Comfortable driver seat and ability to adjust the seat.

Windows stick badly especially in hot weather. Sounds like they might break.
Would like to have ABS on all models.

Have to clean brakes every spring and fall - crunching sound when coming to stop and also squeaking. Is this from poor maintenance from previous owner? Please let me know.

great performance as well as great looks. Extremely practical and lots of storage compartments.

raise center consol to more comfortable hight, telescoping steering column and more powerful drive train.
