I like the ride, comfort and amenities. Roomy, comfortable.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Avalon?
Better gas mileage. I'm only getting 20 mpg average. The Camry has a nicer body design...wish the Avalon was shaped like it.
2006 Toyota Avalon Review:
I just got this car with 9,200 miles. It is quiet and smooth riding, like my 98. Sound system with 9 speakers is awesome. Very disappointing gas mileage (20 avg.).

allow the driver to dis-engage the e.s.c. I loose all forward motion when on a slippery incline.

Quoality slipping - improve. Folding outside mirrors.
2006 Toyota Avalon Review:
Small quality problems are popping up, i.e., trunk lid bars came "crashing" down; drivers side rear quarter panel doesn't line up with other panel (even after they kept for 2 days in body shop). Trunk net holder popped out out.

I have driven Mercedes-Benz cars for 45 years.Just bought my first Toyota Avalon,and it is a far superior vehicle,sompared with M-B cars of recent years. I'll never again buy any Mercedes..Just Toyota Avalons,from now on.

I would add large assist grips to front pillars,instead of the locations over the doors
As a stroke victim,I need
an assist to get in and out of car.Chevrolet trucks have a large handle on windshield pillar,both sides.

all wheel drive option, digital speedometer with heads up display on windshield, passenger knee airbag,rear occupant side airbag.HID headlights should be standard on all models of avalon

Absolutely everything. It is wonderful and I love the gas mileage. Sometimes I get 36 mpg on a trip.
