Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Sienna?
It's a perfect vehicle for hauling the troops ( 4 kids ) and it would be nice to own a suburban like when I was little, but gas was only about $0.80 a gallon then.
Cons: How would you improve 2006 Toyota Sienna?
I had an 04 Sienna, until a pick-up truck failed to stop at a stop sign and total it, (virtually the same as the 06) and it seemed to have a little more pep to it, and the mileage was a little better, don't know what happened there.

Pros: What do you like about 2006 Toyota Sienna?
As a senior citizen, I wanted a vehicle that would not be in the shop all the time.
I chose the Toyota Sienna, as I take my Grand children to many activities daily. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case. New brakes, & tires were put on my van when I bought it in May, 07. 10,000 mi. later, I had to replace the brakes and tires. 9000 miles later, I had to replace the brakes and tires. This is totally unacceptable, when the brakes, and tires should get 50,000 to 70,000 miles each. I want someone to look into the matter, and find out why these brakes are wearing out so quickly!!! I understand from other Sienna owners, that they, too, are having the same problems with their brakes. I will go to the top of Toyota, one by one, until I find someone who cares enough to fix this problem, and stop taking advantage of people who own this vehicle.
The 1st set of brakes I had to put on the van, were covered by Toyota. The second set, at 9000 miles, they made me pay for. I want that money back, as it is not my fault that the brakes are faulty!!! $283.00 should be sent back to me.
My dealer says they will replace the next set for free, but they need to replace the last ones too, because brakes should not be wearing out at 9000, or 10,000 miles. I owned a Dodge Grand Caravan for 8 years, and the brakes always lasted at least 50,000 to 60,000 miles. So there is a problem with your brakes, that needs to be fixed, before someone is killed. I had no idea that my brakes were metal to metal, until I had the tires rotated, and ask them to check the brakes for me. I have 3 grand kids in my car everyday, and do not want anything to happen to them, because of poorly made brakes.
Please, have someone who has the knowledge to do so, check out this problem. I cannot afford to keep buying brakes, but will pay what I have to to get the problem resolved, and go on the internet to let everyone possible know not to buy a Toyota until they get the brake problems fixed.
Thank you for your time, I will be eagerly waiting for a response, and for a check for $283.00 for the last brakes that only lasted 9000 miles.

Have the Mfgr. look into the brake problems, and improve them!!!!

My biggest complaint is that the brakes do not last much more than a year, before things need to be done to them.

Plenty of power for the road. Great ride, comfortable seats, really enjoy the radio/cd player, great sound.

Lots of wind noise from top rear of front drivers door even after returning it to the dealer to fix.
2006 Toyota Sienna Review:
This is a big vehicle. Takes up a lot of room in the garage. We however have no regrets about trading in our Plymouth Voyager. A great vehicle on the road.
