the styling.

better handling as ESP does not help much. stronger interior features; most of them will break over time as they did on my previous GTi and a couple of them are already malfunctioning in my new one.

2006 Volkswagen GTI Review:
For those of you who want the best pocket rocket, keep looking because the GTI is no longer King Of The Hill. The Mazdaspeed 3 blows the GTI away. If VW was really that pleased with the current Golf/GTI etc, they would not be replacing it in the next two years.
