Pros: What do you like about 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage?
Perfect combination of exclusivity and elegance...I can't help but to smile EVERY time I look at this car and get behind the wheel

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage?
It definitely needs more giddy-up in the all-important 0-60mph stat...for this price and with the competition it's up against, a mid-four second time is appropriate.

2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Review:
I have owned the Vantage for three months and truly believe it's the best combination of beauty, sound, exclusivity, and elegance on the road. I belong to an exotic car club as well where I have access to drive Lambos, ferraris, etc. and although I thoroughly enjoy these exotics, the Vantage is the best of the lot to own as it really is a great daily driver, unlike these other cars. Also, although jaws drop from passersby when driving any of the aforementioned cars, it's different with the Aston; the Lambo and Ferrari often come with sneers that show they think you are trying too hard to attract attention and show off. In the Aston, however, the jaw-dropping attention is ALL positive...more smiles, more waves, more good vibes...the Vantage is so damn good looking and yet understated that it doesn't give off the same "please stare at me" vibe although it generates the same stares...totally different experience -- and a good difference.

The sound is truly amazing...it's better than the gallardo and 360 I drove this past year and the handling is great -- very pointy and responsive.

Straight-out acceleration is OK, not great...you feel as if you're going faster than you are due to the glorious sound of the V8, but there are plenty of other cars that can match or beat this 4.9 sec 0-60mph ride. It's somewhat disappointing that Aston beats, in my mind, the common-sight 911 in so many ways -- looks, fit-and-finish, exclusivity, sound, etc. -- but loses to the 911 Carerra S and Turbo when pulling off the line together. However, I can't fathom how a 911 driver feels anywere near as good as I do in this Aston even with the acceleration challenge possessed by the Vantage...this one mark against it does not bring the final grade down too far.

Reliability has been decent...I had to have one belt replaced after two months of driving as it was squeeking...but service was done in less than one day, so not too much of an inconvenience.

No buyer's remorse here...the other exotics I have the pleasure of driving as part of my Club are fun weekend distractions, but the Vantage is my first choice as to what I want in my garage every day.

Thanks all,

Eric

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage?
Beautiful car! Great lines and Company lineage. Fit and finish is flawless. Nothing in the car is cheaply done. Color choices of exterior plus multitude of interior color combinations make it possible to customize your own coach personally.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage?
Should be more expensive. Love to see some wood trim like the DB9

2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Review:
Hard to find flaws. Maybe out performed by speed by Porsche 911, but made up with class by both the car and Aston drivers.
