2007 Chevrolet Equinox Review:
I have only had the car 2 weeks and the shop has had it half of that. They tell me it was the battery and they fixed it. I pick it up the very next morning, it won't start again. I am a single mom who needs to go to work.. I can't afford this... I wish they would just take the car back.

I like the fact that you have plenty of leg room and it rides nice.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chevrolet Equinox?
Make it easier to change the headlights. I have had to change them several times. I have also had to change fuses several times since I have had my car, at least 3 times a year.
I recently had to get a new ignition, because it would stick. That was not a cheap fix either.
Also the tire sensors are constantly not working.

Bought new in 2007. Now having problems- service engine light is on and stabilitrack system light is on. When stopped at a stoplight the car is jumping.

Handles amazing!
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Chevrolet Equinox?
Better interior design. Cup holders are in awkward spots in the front as well as the Auxiliary outlet. Very hard to reach unless center console is flipped up which is very inconvenient.
Using better quality parts would also be great. So far on my Equinox, I've had to replace my rotors all the way around, both front sway bars, rear hatch release button, windshield wiper motor, all tire pressure sensors, A-arm bushing, the rear passenger window motor, numerous headlights/taillights (were talking at LEAST 4 sets a year) and countless fuses from shorts in the electrical system.
Overall I think the Equinox needs better engineers designing the vehicle and also more testing to work out the kinks in the design. Perhaps I just received a lemon, but it's a little ridiculous for a vehicle thats only 4 years old to run into this many problems. Most of my problems started after only 2 years...

Overall, when the vehicle is actually in working condition, it's a great car. The problem I've found is keeping it in good, working condition.

2007 Chevrolet Equinox Review:
Rear hatch leaked, flooded the spare tire compartment and back floorboards now have a musty smell in truck.
Spark plug wires fried on it..
So much wind turbulence you can't drive it on a windy day and don't even think of following a semi. I have been blown complete out of my lane before.

We just bought the Equinox AWD. Very roomy. However, we got home and checked the back spare tire area and there was water in it! Yes, there was a leak at the back. We are having GM look at it. I just hope there are no further problems with this vehicle as we traded in the Pontiac Grand Am SE1 that had problems. I don't like some of the comments I am reading. I'm getting a little worried now.

I would make better parts that would last for one thing! And I would bring back heavier bumpers to protect us in accidents instead of the cheap 22 lb. plastic bumpers that all cars have! It's really crazy making throw away cars. I remember when a car use to last...those were the good old days. I would much rather have a 55 Chev with a Hemi thanks. Built to last and then some. They don't make cars like they use to. Cheaper isn't always better or safer!

I'VE GOT THE LS MODEL. I HAVE NEVER HAD ANYTHING MAJOR WITH THIS CAR. IT'S BEEN THE MOST RELIABLE CAR I'VE EVER OWNED.

THE 3.4 V6, A LITTLE UNDERPOWERED AS FAR AS GAS MILEAGE GOES, AND THE FRONT END FEELS LOOSE IN POOR ROAD CONDITIONS. THE CAR WOULD BE BETTER WITH WINTER TIRES.
