Pros: What do you like about 2007 Honda Odyssey?
Very comfortable to drive, reasonable performance.

We chose the Odyssey over the Sienna due to the 2nd row seating: best seats and leg room of all we looked at. Most vans if you're an adult riding in the second row for long trips it can get very uncomfortable.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Honda Odyssey?
Road noise is excessive, (seems to be a common complaint with Honda's overall), inexcusable in this day.

Horrible place to put the gas door release latch (down on the floor at the drivers left foot), tons of room to put something at the dash level.

Gas gauge is way off: indicates 'E' and light comes on when you still have a 1/4 of a tank (max 300 miles between fill-ups. We put 30K per year on our vehicles, that's 100 gas station stops per year with this van).

2007 Honda Odyssey Review:
Overall we have been disappointed with our Odyssey: the gas door latch broke literally day one of ownership, had to drive to the dealer to fill the car the first two weeks of ownership before they could repair it. Proprietary TPMS (only dealer): Honda dealer wants $90.00 to change codes when we change from summer to winter tires, almost any other brand of vehicle the tire stores can do it for free.

Clunking noise from engine compartment when accelerating or breaking (been there since it was new). At 75K we had to replace the power steering pump: checking the forums this doesn't seem to be an uncommon problem for Odysseys. Now we have a new popping noise from what appears to be the right front. You would expect these issues on a car with 150-200K miles, not one with only 75K miles. It is the worst snow and ice car we've owned, even with 4 studded snow tires in winter it has trouble with traction. During hard acceleration such as passing, the car gets squirrley and unpredictable.

Don't think we'll buy another one. With the exception of comfort and interior room, this van makes the 03 Windstar we replaced look pretty good in comparison.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Honda Odyssey?
I like that it has a lot of room for the front two rows; as well as it has a ton of cargo space.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Honda Odyssey?
I have had this car for 5 years and haven't quite figured out if I got a lemon or this make is not that great.
I have had transmission problems since year two or so, power steering problems, automatic passenger door doesn't work 90% of time....it jams up. When it does work my little ones have a hard time opening it. Dvd broke, horn stopped honking for two weeks and started to work out of the blue. Cylinder head had to be replaced.....yeah, that was a big one. Apparently one of the spark plugs was not put in properly at the factory and it blew into the cylinder head and damaged the cylinder head. This caused the car to accelerate and decelerate on it's own.....Yep, not only was the ride it gave me scary but the $5K bill was just as scary. The leather in the seats seemed to crack prematurely, and the paint has also seemed to chip a lot easier on this car than on any other car I have owned.
Now for the minor flaws.......the placement of the dvd player is poor; if you are utilizing the pull out cup holders in the dash (which you probably need to because the cup holders in the console are not deep enough to hold most cups securely) you cannot reach it to change the dvd. The console between the driver and front passenger seat is pretty much useless as well; anything you lay on it goes flying because it is hard slippery plastic, and I already discussed the cup holders. Road noise is another problem. No plug in for a mobile device, and automatic lights should be a given on a 40+K car. Driver seat is automated however, passenger seat is not.....but it does have a heated seat, which only works on low....hmmmm? Back up camera is hard to see on a sunny day. A/C relay stayed on and drained the battery, and the pressure valve got stuck one day causing the a/c system to build up pressure and blow....another fun day in the Odyssey.

2007 Honda Odyssey Review:
Good plan Honda however, poor execution.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Honda Odyssey?
Very spacious.
Sliding doors.
Fuel mileage isn't bad.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Honda Odyssey?
For $20,000 as a used vehicle with 75000 miles, I would expect better. Found out after we purchased it is on its 3rd transmission and second motor mounts! Now tranny is shuddering horribly between 50 and 60 mph. Had it to dealer twice and they say there's no issues. TOO STRESSFUL!!

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Honda Odyssey?
Roominess.
Remote doors.
LARGE CARGO AREA.
GAS MILEAGE.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Honda Odyssey?
AUTOMATIC LIGHTS that come on at dusk.
For it to say how many miles to empty.

2007 Honda Odyssey Review:
At first I LOVED this car; bragged it was the most favorite car I've ever had (though I NEVER expected to drive a minivan). NOW, highly disappointed! I had brake problems that squeak, Honda says my brakes are fine. They keep squeezing embarrassingly! My battery kept going dead. Got new one, same problem. Took Honda 2 days to figure out some AC LINE was draining battery. Now I have this horrible loud rattle between front glass and driver glass. They can't figure it out; say that must remove dash to see what it and that alone would be $900.00. I NO LONGER LOVE MY CAR!

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Honda Odyssey?
Lots of room for the kids.
We love our Odyssey in the summer.
Loads of room for cargo when traveling.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Honda Odyssey?
Slides all over in the snow, no traction. We have had sudden acceleration and our brakes seize up. We have no control over the van when it does this. Dealership says there is nothing wrong.
The sliding doors stick all the time.
I would not suggest that anyone buy a Honda Odyssey Touring, we do not feel safe in our van. I am terrified to drive it especially with our children in the van.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Honda Odyssey?
Comfortable ride
Power doors
Roomy 2nd and 3rd row seats
Rear entertainment system

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Honda Odyssey?
Get rid of the Pax tires. Had the Touring for 25000 miles and it was shaking. took it in to have it looked at and was told that I needed 2 new tires. $300+ each!! Not including labor. Tried to find them somewhere else and NO ONE can put them on except a Honda dealership, if they have the equipment. 2 weeks after finding this out we traded it in for a 2008 Touring with out the Pax tires, which is now an option....go figure!!

2007 Honda Odyssey Review:
Loved the van. Hated the tires.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Honda Odyssey?
XM Satellite radio, power sliding doors, 3 row seats

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Honda Odyssey?
Remove tire pressure monitoring system!!! It doesn't work. Bad design.

2007 Honda Odyssey Review:
Tire pressure monitoring system warning light (TPMS) is on on dashboard. Dealer cannot fix it for over 2 weeks now. Bad sensor, bad pressure transmitters, bad computers, bad test equipments, etc. This is hopeless. Honda should remove this feature from my car free of charge and install normal wheels.
This system simply doesn't work and causes a lot of problems. Major disappointment from Honda!!!
