Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
Comfortable, powerful, looks better than comparable minivans in the 2007-2008 years.
Stability control and ABS standard.
Fast enough under all loads.
Good gas mileage under 70MPH and reasonable driving technique.
5 Spd auto transmission smooth shifting.
Engine smooth and powerful.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
Steering feels like an American car (a little numb), van handles well despite this (not a Honda).

Permanently reduce squeaks in the interior panels- reseating (give them a good push) them stops the squeaks for 10000 miles or so.

Dealers vary on willingness to support issues. Original dealer is very good about issues- power doors, idler pulley, sway bar bushing at 60K, all repaired without question under extended factory warranty, other Hyundai dealers have asked for money up front until "warranty can be verified"- they say it with a straight face even after they are made aware that it's a factory extended warranty. Hyundai corp is still very helpful in handling dealers.

Too bad Hyundai has moved on from vans, this would have evolved nicely in future models- it has already outlasted most of my US made new car purchases.

2007 Hyundai Entourage Review:
Solid performer and very reasonable price. Does lose value initially but have not been upside down (after 3 years). 65K miles and still drives like it did when purchased, second set of brake pads, not a problem.

Stock tires did not get past 25K miles, Kumho makes good tires for this vehicle.

Engine is smooth and powerful, transmission is almost invisible, shifts slowly under manual operation, downshift delay is consistent but engine is powerful enough to make up for the pause. It is not a sports car.

Has had minor issues, all handled by the dealer gracefully. Great road trip car, very nice on the highway and has handled numerous emergency stops and situations gracefully.

Has a heavy feel but it does not lose it's composure when pushed or stopped abruptly. Great for hauling the babies and family members around. Passengers are always surprised when they find it's not a Honda or Toyota.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
Drives nicely.
Lots of power when needed.
Comfortable to ride in on long trips, and carries a good load.
Good safety package.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
Vertically adjustable low beam lamps. Ours only shine out about 15m from the front end. On a dark rainy winter night - that limits us to about 60kph on unlighted roads.
Heavier front end brake rotors. The factory ones warped after the first downhill braking maneuver. Had them turned, but still have to be really careful when braking going downhill.
Make the passenger seat arm rests level across the seat. I feel like I have a 10 degree list to port when I sit in it.

2007 Hyundai Entourage Review:
For a first van purchase - we like it. The wife feels safe in it, and she drives it all over the place.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
When there is no problem to report to the service, the van is OK.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
No mater what the problem is to be fixed, service never has the parts for repair. They have to order the parts and I need to return the car for repair. I purchased the van in Tennessee and the service mechanics were good, but not in Florida. It's like this is the only van that's ever had this problem. One problem is when I adj. the back on the driver side, there is a loud popping noise. I was told that's normal. HYUNDAI needs better training at least in Florida. Also needed to improve the gas mileage.

2007 Hyundai Entourage Review:
Even with the service problems, I would buy another van if they made one.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
Seating.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
Higher gear ratio for better gas mileage.
Faster power steering ratio.
Better interior design.
Better dealer support.

2007 Hyundai Entourage Review:
A piece of crap, transmission went at 30,000 miles and the dealer will not cover it under warranty because he said we "spun the tires on the snow" and ruined it. I will never buy another foreign car again. I will actively discourage everyone I can from purchasing a Hyundai in the future.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
Big, smooth and clean lines.
Never had an occasion where something we needed to fit, didn't fit.
Like this van a lot. Despite its size, maneuvers like a car. I have owned since new in late 2006.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
Creaky rear hatch.
Easy to spin the tires from standing (torque curve) and upshifts too early (takes longer to downshift for power).
Interesting about the battery comment previously. My battery failed their "stress test," and was replaced by Dealer.
Also one of the power door controllers went, but was heavily used and it was promptly replaced by Dealer.

2007 Hyundai Entourage Review:
Really like this van... Sorry to see it go. Would have liked to buy the top of the line model. Finally, wish I had waited until they were being cleared out... much cheaper than I paid (What can you do though... it wasn't just the Entourage that dropped like a rock in price over this past year or 2)?! Would buy again if looking for a minivan.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
The look is great and very roomy.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
Makes way to many noises-the trunk door for example. Was in the shop many times for this-finally was told to put black tape where it was squeaking and that would stop it-tape what?

Both back doors always have trouble shutting and staying shut-this is a huge problem.

It has a tendency when you start it-rpm rev up to approx 3 1/2(buy it self), van starts shaking really bad and acts like it is getting ready to die. What is this-?

2007 Hyundai Entourage Review:
Loved this vehicle until all these issues arose-don't think I'll purchase another one!!!!

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
Space.
Handling.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
Better service. Central NY
Having problems with brakes since we purchased it, tires it came with were bald at 25,000 miles.
Engine makes a noise like an angry mosquito.
They couldn't even fix the temperature display and no one cares about any other issues.
We maintain it, only 11,000 per year, paid 2,000 for the extra warranty and no one cares. It does not hold its value so we are stuck with it. I just want what I paid for is not a lemon.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
Good Road Side Assistance. This is very important because you will need it a lot!

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Entourage?
Reliability

2007 Hyundai Entourage Review:
Bought van 2 years ago. I was sold on the high safety ratings. It has been in the shop 11 times. 3 new batteries, 2 new oxygen sensors, 2 tension pulleys....etc. It just goes on and on. 25,000 miles on the Michelinsit came with and they are BALD! Brakes are squealing. I traded it Monday, lost money because they don't hold their value at all. I was so glad to be rid of that van I really didn't care. Safety ratings are good but it isn't safe if you are broken down on the side of the road. Never buy a Hyundai. The 800 customer service number is useless. They get all of the information and never call you back. All of the quality issues that plagued Hyundai in the beginning are prompt and present in this Van!
