Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
I recently bought a 2007 used Tucson (Limited FWD with Power sunroof, Alloy wheels etc.) with 40k miles on it.

It was an extremely bad weather in Northeast with severe snow storm. Highways were under pile of snow and late at night it became ice.... I had to drive the Tucson from NY to NH all through the snow....

The handling of the car in snow was excellent. I saw people reporting snow-handling issues with Tucson but in my opinion, that is not entirely true as I had my own real time experience.

It is a simple fact that you need to slow down in snow... does not matter whether you drive a Tucson or an Explorer. What I found was that my Tucson was so smooth that it zips right into 60 mph before you realize and in snow, with that speed, you will feel like you are swaying... Just slowdown to 40 mph range consciously and the car handles it very nicely.... I am very very happy with my purchase....

Handles well in sharp turns too.... I tried it with the dealer sales man sitting next to me during my test drive.....

It looks cute... and there is not a single one who did not ask me about it when they saw it... it does make people to have a second look at it when it passes them....

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
1) Handrest for the driver's right hand and passenger's left hand in the front seat is terrible... Absolutely terrible... It needs to be a bit more lengthier.... Very bad design ergonomically, as it is hard to keep your right hand hanging for a long time during long drives or even long city drives.... I am planning to alter it myself...

2) Music system is good but not enough Bass... It's just flat... Even my 1996 Ford Windstar and 1998 Cavelier did a great job... Well, I am not asking for a sub-woofer level bass effect but just the normal/standard expected level of bass.... Tucson is very poor on that but otherwise the quality of sound is excellent...

3) The position of the 12V outlet in the front is very awkward. It is directly behind the drive shift stick... So it prohibits its usage as there is no enough room to insert even a normal 12V appliance chord to it, let alone using an inverter type (110V) device that plugs-in directly to the 12V slot... no way.... There is no room for it in the front which is where the driver needs it for controlling it, but the only consolation is that there is one more 12V slot behind the center console that the driver can access but you don't want to try it when you are driving... Also, watch out, people in the back seats might step on your expensive device...

2007 Hyundai Tucson Review:
Very stylish, nice driving, good handling.... Attracts people, lots of space in the back and boot.... I love it all.... Very happy about my purchase and would strongly recommend this to anyone who wants to switch from car to SUV....

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
Bought the car with 59,000 miles. Last owner had kept this Tucson in great shape.
The last two weeks I've gotten 26.1 mpg avg.
I really like the safety features.
The rear seats folding flat helps with loading and unloading.
Huge glove box.
Great drivers visibility.
Seats are firm.
Looking forward to first vacation this summer.
SAT Radio is a life saver out here in the desert.
Great little SUV!!

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
Shoot the guy who designed the drivers armrest! Too low, too short. Wasted space between front seats. Front storage could easily be doubled.

Rear cargo area storage needs help, lots of voids where storage could be given.

Lots of road noise from rear cargo area.

2007 Hyundai Tucson Review:
Overall, a great SUV for the money. How about a diesel? This SUV with a high MPG engine would be sweet! I have found a keeper.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
I own a 2007 Tucson GL/V6 and I am satisfied with how engine performs especially when accelerating on freeway entries, solid.
I like the exterior looks, compact and simple crossover SUV design.
Roomy enough with adjustable foldable seats, ample cup/can holders, very efficient AC/heaters and 3 convenient power outlets.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
Driver's seat should have an adjustable lumbar support.
Fabric covered seats needs a more stain/dirt resistant material.

2007 Hyundai Tucson Review:
Nice to drive. Fair value, quality and performance wise. Good after sales warranties and service.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
It's a good comfortable ride, pretty interior.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
It is terrible in rain or snow. The tires spin out even in rain and I have to drive extra careful not to slide. In snow it is terrible even with brand new tires it slips and slides all over the place.
Mileage is not that good.
Needs jacks for Ipod or Iphone.

2007 Hyundai Tucson Review:
It's a good car, nice interior, pretty. Not for new inexperience drivers because of the dangerous traction problems on wet roads.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
Beautiful exterior! Smooth, safe ride, comfortable seats, spacious, great large trunk.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
NEEDS BETTER FUEL ECONOMY. I get TERRIBLE gas mileage going to and from work (hardly 10 miles away!). Really love everything about this car but the mpg is a HUGE disappointment. I wouldn't have bought this car had I known it was so inefficient. I was under the impression that it was much better. I should have done more research!

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
Interior looks good. Easy to clean. Plenty of room for just about anyone.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
Gas mileage and performance.

2007 Hyundai Tucson Review:
Not a bad choice to take on a trip if you're looking for room without paying too much for gas... Just don't expect to get over 100mph.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
great overall value. 4 cyl engine handles all needs well. Does well on steep inclines without shifting

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
Could do better on gas mileage for 4 cylinder engine

2007 Hyundai Tucson Review:
I plan to keep the car for 5 years, provided not accidents happen. I will buy another similar Tucson product, if all factors remain similar

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
i opted for the fully loaded version which includes 6-CD changer, heated seats, sunroof, roof rack, etc. i love the options! drives smoothly, lots of legroom for front passenger (more than RAV4). all seats fold down 90 degrees...passenger seat leans back all the way. car insurance on the vehicle is pretty low b/c of the many safety features. best warranty and price for a new vehicle on the market.

Cons: How would you improve 2007 Hyundai Tucson?
needs higher armrest in the front, the front lights are low when driving at night, engine noise when you put on the air conditioner and heat (especially when you're in stationary position), no power seats option, cut off of the heated leather seats (this is the first time i've owned heated seats...so i'm not sure if this is b/c of a safety feature), doors do not automatically lock once car begins to drive, no sensor in the key clicker that will prevent keys from being locked in the car; no bluetooth feature or ipod connectivity with CD player.

2007 Hyundai Tucson Review:
I purchased the 2007 Limited Edition fully loaded 4-wheel drive 5 months ago for $21,500 with 32 miles on it. i've put 7,800 miles on it. overall...i'm very satisfied with my purchase. great ride with many options for a great price. average mileage so far is 21.5 miles. 20 miles on city. 24 on highway (just like manufacturer says). really great small-sized SUV!
