Headroom & overall room.
Balcony seating in backseat.
Power (I have the V8).
Handling.
Smooth ride.

More leg room in the backseat, and the 3rd row not big enough for adults.
2007 Jeep Commander Review:
This Jeep is a tank, it will go through anything! No problem going through major snowstorms in the Adirondacks in upstate NY!
Love the headroom, distance between the driver & passenger seat. You're not sitting on top of another. Plenty of room in the cargo for my Great Dane. My husband is 6'6" and he has plenty of headroom.
This is my 3rd Jeep, had Grand Cherokee's before, but the Commander is heaver & much roomier, and drives smoother. Have the V8, drive 40 miles each day to work & fill my gas tank once a week.. not bad! Back seats recline, nice when on long trips for the kids or Grampa to nap.
GREAT VEHICLE - no complaints here!

The commander is a joy to drive, fit & finish are good.
We have had this car from new (4 yrs), it has had only 1 unsolved problem.
Auto has the small V8 & most options.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Jeep Commander?
Better access to rear seats. (3rd row)

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Jeep Commander?
I love a lot of things with this commander. Where do I start? These features are all greats: heated seats, sunroof, premium sound system, interior and exterior looks GREAT!
Love the rugged yet classy interior. Outside is an eye turner. Looks like a much more expensive vehicle.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Jeep Commander?
Electronics seem to need some improvements. Mine would say "Service Park Assist" all the time and it would buck going into gear. Problem solved with a new Electronic Shift Module which wasn't too bad priced.
Also it seems when my car interior is cold, my speakers in the front will crackle as if the speaker was blown. IT goes away once warm though I don't get it.
2007 Jeep Commander Review:
All in all, this Jeep is great! I love it. I went from an old F150 to this and love this Jeep. Other than the speakers crackling sometimes, I have no complaints. Plenty of room for my family and black lab in the back seat.

1) GREAT POWER!!!!! I have a HEMI and I get almost 17 to 18 on the highway, going 75 to 80... Keep this vehicle 100% stock and you will get this.
2) Off road capabilities- this vehicle can practically go anywhere.

More leg room in the 2nd row seat and in the 3rd row seat...

Overall, I am completely in love with this vehicle. I'm coming out of a 2006 F250 Diesel, and I can pull my 6x12 trailer loaded, just as easy with this Jeep and I could with my truck... I have never had any issues with stalling, leaking, or anything........ I guess that I am lucky..

Gas mileage is awful! I have owned a 1995 Cherokee and it was FANTASTIC... owned a 2004 Liberty and it was FANTASTIC.. in fact, I traded the Liberty in for the Commander due to a growing family and thus far...the sunroof leaks like a waterfall, switch to passenger window faultering and the courtesy light above driver stopped working and they said the unit needed replacing.I've had this thing 2 WEEKS and it's already at the dealer and I did purchase an extended warranty but they said it won't cover my problems..?..? If this is how things are going to go... I will be trading it in for a loss and get another job to pay for a new vehicle.

I'm attempting to stay neutral for now on this and see what happens but it's tough. The gas mileage really stinks. I think they drove it on the highway to improve what the computer says because I'm getting about 10mpg.

I love the headroom. My husband is 6'5" so it's a must!
Love the V8 engine! Lot's of power and I knew purchasing this vehicle that the gas mileage would be that of a F150 so mileage is not an issue with us.
It handles the wet and slick roads so nicely.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Jeep Commander?
Just some more leg room for 2 row would be great!

Well I would fix the stalling, and my alarm system and my starter just went out this morning and jeep obviously didn't fix it right.

Looks... That's about it....

Better quality on most of it.
Transmission is weak, second row seats are tight for adults.
Gas mileage stated by Jeep is a total lie... I have done everything I can to get anything above 12 mpg avg.... It doesn't happen.
Lots of blind spots, have to really pay attention.
Drivers power window is already groaning and the auto up and down already doesn't work.
Suspension tooo soft.
2007 Jeep Commander Review:
Overall, do not buy this Jeep unless you buy a heck of a warranty with it. This is my first and last Jeep. Will go back to Toyotas as soon as I can.

Have had no problems.
Gas mileage is about the same as our Ford F150 but we expected that.
No surprises suprcrew.
2007 Jeep Commander Review:
The Jeep has been great so far and no mechanical problems. The vehicle has lots of power. 5.7 hemi v8 and handles very good on the highways in Florida which is always a pain in the ***. It is the wife's primary vehicle and she feels safe while driving it which is the most important thing.
