The sun visor broke within a year I bought it.
There is problems whenever I'm fueling gas and I put the lever down so I dnt have to hold the nozzle while fueling it clicks when its done fueling, and suddenly the gasoline flushes out of the tank. This happens all the time I am fueling . Please someone let me know what to do cuz it freaks me out when I pump gas.

So many things to like....
The price.
The looks (except for the back lights, too much like a Corolla).
The great warranty.
The stereo system.
The leather.
Power heated seats.

Really should have had a MPG indicator in the computer and a compass in mirror.
2007 Kia Optima Review:
I am 73 years old, so I have owned may different cars during my long life. This one, an Optima EX may be the best ever. After 30,000 miles it runs like a new one. Highway gas mileage is outstanding! Once it got over 40MPG on a tank. I would strongly recommend it to anyone.

The ride is smooth. I like the MPG's, and it is really a nice-looking car.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Kia Optima?
I am constantly having to change the bulbs (i.e. I have already changed 3 headlight bulbs, and one turning signal. Am needing to change another.)

I like my car, overall, but the rate at which I have to change headlights/taillights borders on ridiculous.

A lot of car for the money. Compared to the Hyundai, much more value for the dollar.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Kia Optima?
Add MPG's computer to the info display.
Auto headlights would be nice.

We really like the car. It has pretty good pep for a 4-cylinder. They advertised with an average of 24 mpg - we've gotten sometimes as much as 26 to 28, so that's a plus. All-in-all it's been pretty classy.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Kia Optima?
We recently noticed some vibration, coming up from the floor of the car and have taken it in to Kia, as it's still under warranty, however, they can't find a cause. They've admitted to having come across it on a couple of other Optimas', but nobody seems to be able to find the root of the problem. Anyone else having this issue - have you found what caused it????

I like the smooth ride ,stereo sound,body,However I have a automatic and manuel kind and today 6/3/08 one year ,the transmission had to be manuelly shift to get it unto the towing truck

Take out the duel transmissions ,in parts where there are no mountains etc .I live in Louisiana

I really loved my car up until today .Now I am afraid it will stop freeze on me like today .I could of have gotten ran over or killed I do not believe that I will ever be comfortable in it again.
