No problems with engine or transmission.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Kia Sedona?
I get constant leaks into the ceiling - water accumulates in the lowest area and stains the interior. I have 130,000kms on the vehicle and have started to get major electrical issues. Door locks have always been an issue from the start. I have a fully loaded Sedona - DVD player quit at 61,000 kms and they would not warranty it (it is only covered for 60,000km, not 100,000 as I had been led to believe). The main power control on the drivers door is now malfunctioning (windows open on their own, mirrors do their own adjustments), and cost to replace this module with be approx. $ 1,000.
2007 Kia Sedona Review:
Because of the electrical issues, along with the poor service and warranty support, I would not recommend this vehicle to anyone I like.

The power is a big winner with me.
The feel of the van is similar to some large sized car but better.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Kia Sedona?
In the colder areas of the country, the automatic doors like to ice up and it is hard to close to doors. Took it to the dealership and they have no fix for it. I use vaseline to fix the problem with doors sticking.
Kia also needs to look at a better setup for the auto doors when parking in driveways that are not flat. A slight angle and the doors do not want to shut. Found no fix for that yet.
2007 Kia Sedona Review:
An awesome van with a lot of luxuries with decent gas mileage and a lot of power. I will buy another Kia in the future.

great value, high saftey standards, JD powers rates the 07 sedona higher than honda odessey, quite, alot of pep for a mini van, super value

better interior door handles, I prefer a lever than the straps to put the seats into place. DVD player I wish was thinner. SOmetimes I can bang my head off the dvd player whenits closed

I was looking to get out off the minivan and buy a crossover with 3 rows of seats. Your just not going to get the room in a crossover as you would in a minivan, I did a lot of research and found KIA to be the best.I Just purchased a KIA 07 Sedona with all of the options. This is a great car. You can't beat all of the features such as the memory seats, power doors,dvd player,all of the safety features michelin tires. Behind the 3rd row seat is very big for storage. The van handles the road great and is very quiet. Honda and Toyota watch out. Sedona offers a great van at a great value. Sedona comes with a lot of features for the same price as a base model sienna or Odyssey. Plus the 10 year warranty. The interior is very nice. The exterior body peices fit together nicely. I am extremly happy with the sedona it beats all of my expectations. Common come back for toyota or honda is the resale value is poor on the KIA. I think that is very misleading because the price difference can be as high as 8000 dollars between the 2. SO what do you do pay that much more for a honda, just so you can sell it at a higher price. Check out the KIA sedona.

Add a center floor console.
Bucket seats vibrate audibly when unoccupied.
Increase gas milage.
2007 Kia Sedona Review:
I have only 352 miles & already the bucket seats when unoccupied vibrate annoyingly. I love the minivan but would like some more storage space for the driver....a center floor console would be great rather than the cup-holders that can be folded out of the way when not in use. Also, hoping the gas milage will be better after I've had the car longer.

Performance is very good. Transmission very good.

Sometimes when opening the drivers door pushing on door activates lock. Need to move lock button or change to slide type.
2007 Kia Sedona Review:
As compared to two Caravans I've owned in the past, The power and transmission is much better and gas milage is down 1 mpg. The Caravan had 3.3 liter engine and the Sednona has 3.8 liter. This is not a bad drop for the increase in HP. Average MPG on the Caravans was 22 and the Sedona 21. I have the short WB Sedona Standard. The base features are much more than you get in the Caravan STX.

Solid feel, peppy and smooth acceleration, features for price
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Kia Sedona?
Scan control for radio on wheel. Back-up sensor over-ride switch for backing with trailer so alarm does not sound. A few inches more rear travel on drivers seat.
2007 Kia Sedona Review:
Big improvement over our Grand Caravan. Can drive all day and feel fresh. Everything still works as designed at 12K.
