Pros: What do you like about 2007 Pontiac G6?
Sleak exterior design sets this car apart from many other midsize cars. The lines are surprizingly simple, especially coming from Pontiac. The car handles decently, and acceleration feels as if more horses are under the hood. Most of the driver's controls are easy to reach, and seats are comfortable enough for short day trips.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Pontiac G6?
Two main factors prevent G6 from winning Camry or Accord buyers over. First, interior plastic needs significant improvement. Simply put, G6 feels cheap when you sit in it. A car is a product that drivers touch and feel everyday, and Pontiac failed miserably on areas where the car owners will experience their cars constantly. Pontiac designers need to compare G6 with Camry side by side and make G6's interior better. Second, gas mileage was significantly below expectation. It is difficult to believe that anybody can drive G6 to get over 30 miles per gallon. Maybe on a downhill driving with gear in nuetral might be the only way.
2007 Pontiac G6 Review:
G6 is a reasonably good effort from Pontiac, and the car's clean exterior look shows their effort. But they still have far to go in order to win over Camry or Accord buyers. Pontiac designers and engineers have to understand that their cars have to be better than their competitors' in order to win market share. Other than the exterior execution, G6 lacks in almost everything else. It is not a bad car by any means, but we are not in the 80's anymore. Quality of cars have significantly improved since then, but Pontiac's interior and performance have not, especially compared to its competitors.

So far no major problem.. I have 95,000 0n it. Had it for 2 years. Keeping my fingers crossed. I see a lot of negative reviews.

I like everything about my 2007 Pontiac G6 V6! Best car I've ever owned!! Far better than HONDA ACCORD V6! Especially gas mileage...

Nothing to improve, at 182,654 miles, it's a great car, still drives and handles like it did when it was a brand new car!
2007 Pontiac G6 Review:
Just want to say that Pontiac G6 is a great car and I would highly recommend it to people looking for a good midsized sedan... The interior room in the front is good, but the rear passenger legroom is amazing, has a lot more interior room that my Cadillac STS!

So far, I'm pleased with everything about it.
I bought it used but it feels and looks like new.
Carfax is clean.

I would need to own it for another 6 months before I find out what's bad or iffy about it.

They should have put more time and money into the brakes and air. Because they SUCK. I have had nothing but problems with the brakes. I have had the car for 2 years and had to put brakes on the car 6 times. I have gone all summer with no ac because the Pontiac dealership doesn't know what is wrong with it. The ac (air) problem has been going on for 6 months.

The sporty look and fast acceleration.
Also the adjustment in the driver side seating.
The price is reasonable and fashionable by all means.
My daughter was in love with car's style.

The strange noises that I heard near tires and at dealership they can not hear, but charged money for checking it out.
The steering get stiff while driving and then suddenly looses up.
The cheap interior, peeling paint off CD SYSTEM. There are not kids to sit and peel off coloring, better quality and more responsibility for warranty malfunctions.
Now it has been 2 years ago and now the water pump and new noises have occurred and honesty, I am afraid to take it in for service fear of cost. Will it be covered with less than 68,000 miles? I HAVE ONLY PUT 33,000 ON THE VEHICLE IN OVER 2 YEARS.

I will take my time purchasing and ask for my 3day/150 miles guarantee. Also have sales representative to itemize all my warranty coverages and non warranty parts.

Put door lock on passenger door, or auto unlocker.
Cruise control.

2007 Pontiac G6 Review:
Heater core had to be replaced at 1000 miles, dealer changed finally after five visits to dealer smelled antifreeze inside of car.
We should all get a refund for steering column defect. Costs $890.00 they got us on that one.
The best I did on gas mileage was 30 on the highway, 27 around town with the four cylinder.
Brake lights are stuck on.
Driver side visor fell off.

Very nice ride. Have the base model.
Mileage was poor until the fuel injectors were replace at 6,ooo miles. Now getting 30-31 miles on the highway.
Generally like the car but trade-in value will not be good in a year or 2 when I trade it.

The interior looks and feels cheap. I've owned imports since 1986 but decided to give Pontiac a try because I liked its exterior. Right now I can't figure out the weird noise I hear when I have several people in the back seat. Had the springs/shocks checked and all was good.
