Pros: What do you like about 2007 Pontiac Solstice?
As a Senior Aerospace Designer, this car is a beauty! It captures EVERYTHING good into one spectacular design! Sleek body styling, with a "hint" (not too much mind you) of combined GM designs in the Corvette, Camaro/Firebird while incorporating a little European flair in the front end grill!
Unlike the (now) boring styling of Corvette flat back end, there's a very creative flair where three transitional planes (top, side, rear) all converge, intersecting in the unique styling of the back light assembly!
This design is impeccable, so much so that I've recently purchased a 2007 model (Black on Black) with chrome trimwork that enhances its features! I have never owned a vehicle that has as much tasteful creativity as this does for a fraction of the price for its comparable European designs!
The roof easily folds up and tucks away in the trunk to create an exciting driving experience! This car handles like a gem! Tight to the road, precision handling with an amazingly low center of gravity that utilizes the wide girth that only contributes to the handling!

I'd make more of them!

The body parts do not line up properly. GM told me that the irregularities were within "manufacturers" specs. I think that when you buy a car it should be perfect. The gaps are very obvious. I would not recommend buying a Solstice even that they are not in production anymore.
2007 Pontiac Solstice Review:
Very poorly built. GM will not do anything to remedy the problem. I guess that's why American cars are inferior to foreign cars.

Pros: What do you like about 2007 Pontiac Solstice?
I have owned many cars. My first was a triumph herald, I owned three Camaros, two Mustangs, a 67 Buick Riviera and twice owned Jaguars. I recently say within the last three months purchased a 2007 Solstice, the regular one and I am happier with that car than I have ever been with any car. I am glad they are not in production any more because now they are a fine rare sports car. I envy no-one. Wouldn't trade it for a vette, a jag or anything. I have found Nirvana in my solstice.

USE BETTER MATERIAL ON SOME OF THE INTERIOR TRIM.
2007 Pontiac Solstice Review:
PEOPLE GET OVER THE CUP HOLDER BEING INCONVENIENT. THIS IS A 2 SEATED ROADSTER. IF THIS CAR HAD HIT THE STREETS IN 1953 THE CORVETTE WOULD HAVE BEEN JUST ANOTHER NAVAL SHIP. THIS CAR IS AWESOME TO DRIVE AND TURNS HEADS EVERYPLACE YOU GO. KIDS LOVE IT BECAUSE IT IS ONE OF THE TRANSFORMERS. IF YOU GO TO LOOK AT ONE TAKE YOUR CHECKBOOK WITH YOU, I DID AND IT CAME HOME WITH ME. Great fuel mileage over 30.
Good feeling manual transmission, more than enough Pep.
And boy does it turn heads. Very few people have even heard of it, There first words are almost always the same it's Beautiful what is it!!

2007 Pontiac Solstice Review:
I have owned several roadsters over the years Vette, Porsche, Miata. My Solstice just makes me SMILE. A pleasure to drive. Mileage at over 30 at 68 mph. Excellent handling. This car should have been marketed to the over 50 crowd who have no need of four doors and Bulbous exteriors. I read people bitching about no trunk space, if you want space buy a Truck. Besides it's AMERICAN and doesn't run on Rice!!!

It's great fun to drive and a hot looking little car! It's wicked fast and I love the satellite stereo and Onstar is a wonderful feature!

Better cup holders and more interior storage would be nice. It also needs some more mechanical reliability as I've had a lot of breakdowns and recalls.
2007 Pontiac Solstice Review:
I love the car but the mechanical unreliability is distressing. It reminds me of a Jaguar XKE V-12 I used to have that was fun but horribly unreliable. I'm hoping that the mechanical problems are a finally resolved.

Have had it at the dealer at least 9 times for the air bag problem and neither they or a factory teck can find or fix the it.
