Eight passenger and fold-down 2nd & 3rd row.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Saturn Outlook?
1. 5 speed transmission to reduce excessive shifting.
2. Non-computer operated throttle.
3. Re-circulation air switch needs remain to last-set position.
2007 Saturn Outlook Review:
I bought my 2007 Outlook thinking it would be a perfect car to haul my six grandkids around once in a while. The "new car feel" is probably the main reason all my senses were functioning when I drove the vehicle away from the dealer or I would have returned it.
I don't have any issues with the looks interior or exterior. The V-6 engine and 6 speed automatic along with the computerized acceleration/shifting system are very frustrating and annoying. This excessive shifting causes the engine to rev up/down continuously and is probably the main contributor for the poor fuel economy of 16.5 to 17 gpm most of the time. This vehicle down shifts from 6th to 5th or 4th gear anytime the driver attempts to go slightly faster. It actually slows down a bit when the throttle is pushed in gently. I estimate a good 3/4 to 1 inch of pushing in the throttle before it finally responds with an abrupt downshift and engine racing. Very BAD!

I love the way my outlook runs and handles.
Has plenty of room to haul everyone.
If the seats are down you can haul furniture, etc.
Nice sporty look.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Saturn Outlook?
Interior lights need to shut off automatically after certain time period. Have had to replace battery once. Battery appears to drain when doors are open for cleaning.
Transmission shifts a little different than other vehicles I've owned, but so far no problems.
Have had problem with the wiring in the headlights, but that is a recall.
2007 Saturn Outlook Review:
I bought my outlook used 2 years ago. Other than the things I've listed above, I've had no problems. I bought it with 109 thousand miles and now have 173 thousand. Great car all the way around. Wish they still made them. I'd buy another one.

2007 Saturn Outlook Review:
I purchased this truck outright, brand new, and I have been sorry ever since. Water leaks under the emergency brake & in the cargo area. It has died on me 2x in the last 2weeks. It's at the dealer now & they said its fine. It has had numerous recalls for different problems. I'm on my way to a third new battery. Dumping this truck ASAP.

Overall, I am happy with the Saturn Outlook. I would purchase another one if these were still made. Purchased mine used approximately a year and a half ago and have had no problems whatsoever. We were in the market for a van when we bought this, but were so happy that this vehicle was on the lot!! Plenty of room for kids and their friends.

2007 Saturn Outlook Review:
Just had the transmission replaced @ < 60,000 miles. Thank God it was covered under the warranty! Never had to to replace a transmission on a vehicle with such low miles before. Bad purchase! But then do you really get what you pay for anymore?

Smoother shifting and get rid of whining in the steering.
2007 Saturn Outlook Review:
Sometimes when driving, my car feels like it's going to shift backwards. Was kind of relieved when I saw that several others have also left this same comment. I'm also sure that this plays into the poor gas mileage.
My car has also been towed twice for the battery draining. If you read the manual, the car should detect if anything is left on and charge the battery, so in theory, the battery should not have died either time.
I love my car, but am disappointed with it at the same time.

Seating arrangement is about only thing descent besides body style; transmission winds, acceleration awful, gas mileage horrible, unreliable.
2007 Saturn Outlook Review:
Worst vehicle ever purchased in over 30 years of driving. Transmission rebuilt less than 20,000 miles, interior rugs worn through in less than 45,000 miles and worst engineering thoughts put into key ignition - if battery goes dead you cannot retrieve the key out of the steering column so vehicle must remain left with key in start position until new battery can be installed- what were you idiots thinking?
