Pros: What do you like about 2007 Toyota Tacoma?
Love the power!
6 speed manual is fun to drive and it's geared properly.
Double cab gives lots of room for anything, surprised with the space.
I went from a Ford half ton to this and it's twice the truck.
Handles great in all weather, needs to be in 4x4 when on snow or ice cause it's so light in the rear.
Can't beat the looks of this truck!

Definitely needs a cargo light for the box. Heavier leaf springs for the rear end or add the $400 airbags I put in which is even better.
I would put a stronger clutch in it, gets a little smelly when trying to get out of a sticky situation....

4-door.
4x4 trd sport.
Long bed.
Looks great and very spacious.
Put a shell on the long bed and has tons of space.

At 49,000 miles, front seal engine oil leak? After researching problem, Toyota power train warranty fixed leak for free. Considered "common oil leak" by manufacturer/dealer.????
Just noticed fender above exhaust pipe is spotting black quickly after vehicle has just been washed. Black residue/smoke coming from exhaust seems to be getting worse!!! Starting to research this problem now.????

Owned a 2002 Toyota Tacoma and zero problems after putting 115,000 miles on it. My 2007 Tacoma 4x4, 4 door trd sport is not doing so great at 50,000 miles and starting to question Toyota for future vehicles.

Mileage is good.

Better quality craftsmanship. The motor had a factory flaw. It has very limited hauling and towing capacity, even for a light truck. The Nissan Frontier, its equal, is twice the truck. The accelerator sticks and it should be included in the recall list, but is not.
2007 Toyota Tacoma Review:
I had the motor rebuilt at 50,000 miles. The rear-end makes a rattling clunk every time when shifting from forward to reverse. Mechanic has not found the source yet.
The accelerator pedal has stuck two times; Once while passing a vehicle, and once in a parking lot. It's scary. No recall yet on the 2007 Tacoma?

I wish it had more power when going up hills.
I would've liked it better if the back seats were wider and more comfortable, too.

Fun, love the size, good mileage. Mine has a silver color. All I need to do is wash and wipe it without even using much muscle power to make it shiny and clean. It's almost two years old now with 27,000 miles - NO problems yet! We have 4 different vehicles, but I always choose the Toyota Tacoma every time I drive. It's cool. JUST LOVE IT!!!

Performance is great, i.e., power, handling, the 4x4.
For a smaller truck, scoop on hood,and general appearance still turns heads.
Mileage not bad.
My Toyota dealer is the best in service, something to consider.

Inside is mundane, but functional.
Dash board is, well, boring...Cover the seats, 'cause they will take a beating rather quickly if used for a work truck.
Although truck has 6 speakers sound system is at best adequate.

My purchase was primarily due to its reliability.

Adjustable seats, as well as further travel in steering wheel adjustment. It doesn't have enough travel in the upward direction.
2007 Toyota Tacoma Review:
Overall it has been a pretty good vehicle. I was a little bit disappointed with staining with the seats, when wet, leaving a stain. I have an unusual ticking noise when I first start the truck, however it is not a exhaust leak, something other, that eventually goes away. I get some scraping as I drive my steep driveway, even though I have a trd sport quad cab. All things considered I am pretty happy with it, I have about 20,000 miles on my truck so far. Expecting the usual dependable miles from Toyota. I would recommend purchasing however.

I have 75000 miles on my 2007 and I have only had to pay for oil changes and a side view mirror.

Trade it in for a 2008 Tacoma. XM Navigation option from the factory, moon roof, and a custom concubine would all be nice.
