Pros: What do you like about 2007 Volkswagen GTI?
Very quick, "launch control" feature is fun. Young men wanted to race me. Noisy cabin, but in a good way. Transmission was the best automatic I've ever driven. An engaging car. Overall, it made me smile.
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Volkswagen GTI?
A little pricey once options are added (or go for the Farhenheit). $25k is the best deal I found on the Farenheit; $26.5k was easy to come by. A lightly used '06 3 series BMW is less than $30k.

2007 Volkswagen GTI Review:
An excellent example of german performance engineering for a reasonable price. I love embarassing so called american performance cars on the freeway.
After swearing for 30+ years that I would never own an automatic I must say the DSG transmission is the perfect solution for guys like me who are tired of holding in the clutch pedal in traffic but can't swallow the inefficiencies and lack of control in a torque converter based automatic.

2007 Volkswagen GTI Review:
I've had the car a week now and have really enjoyed the manual transmission and the feel for the road that the suspention and power give while driving. The bolstered seats really inspire confidence in the corners and give a quality touch not found in other comparable vehicles.

Excellent powertrain, fit and finish, styling, comfort, functionality (especially with 4door), best all around package in price range
Cons: How would you improve 2007 Volkswagen GTI?
Taller back seat (not meant for the long legged), more adjustable front seat (cant adjust camber of seat, only height) Neither are biggies for me.
2007 Volkswagen GTI Review:
An amazingly fun to drive car with smooth power and tight handling that that never ceases to be fun to drive and is practical enough to be a daily driver. The gorilla gear trunk liner is awesome, and I recommend the rubber floor mats.

Off the line pick up. The DSG shifting

Remove the rattles and car sometimes almost stalls sometimes
2007 Volkswagen GTI Review:
The car is fun to drive and gets decent gas mileage (26 mpg). The inside noise is a little too much and the stereo is of poor quality.
