2008 Acura RDX Review:
I was excited about purchasing a luxury SUV at a reasonable price after considering all the alternatives. The vehicle looks good and does seem to carry some prestige however; I was disappointed with the fit and finish of the exterior (hood alignment, rear bumper alignment). Although this is a performance minded, young persons type of vehicle the suspension is too stiff and becomes tiresome quick.

The sound system is superior and was one of my prerequisites, unfortunately the road noise is such that you cannot enjoy the premium sound system especially on the highway where you might enjoy it most.

I was disappointed to find out that when making tight turns in parking lots or on the road that there is a horrible grinding sensation that can be heard and felt in the steering. This is due to dirty oil in the rear differential according to my Acura advisor. This grinding was evident immediately after purchase and was corrected by a rear differential oil change that was not covered by warranty. Apparently this oil has to be changed on a regular basis to prevent recurrence.

Overall I'm disappointed and considering getting rid of, I would not recommend this vehicle or purchase another Acura product as a result.

2008 Acura RDX Review:
I came to the RDX after driving an older X3 for a few years. I love the navigation system (though the update CD's are ridiculously expensive). The back seats are not great - but I don't sit back there. :)

The thing that drives me crazy is the road noise. It is LOUD on the highway, especially around Seattle, where all of the roads seem to be made of concrete or something. It is so loud that it renders the bluetooth phone unusable, and the stereo useless for news or talk radio. I come back from long trips wondering if it is time to trade for a new model X3 or Q5.

Also the gas mileage is disappointing: I got better from the inline 6 in my BMW!

Better gas mileage.
Better navigational system... maps are terrible... should be using the maps that Garmin uses. I had a Garmin before going with the navigational system and I regret paying the additional monies. The system is not worth the money! Save yourself and buy a Garmin - they are much better! Navigational support is terrible!!!! And the cost to update maps is crazy - $189/update per year!

2008 Acura RDX Review:
I love an Acura! But totally disappointed in the navigational system. My sales person in Greensburg, PA said the navigational system covered my hometown and it didn't. There are streets in my home town that are 40-50 years old and they are not on the maps.
Also salesperson promised a loaner car when my car was in for servicing and that didn't happen! How do these salesmen get away with this!

2008 Acura RDX Review:
Great vehicle. Hubler Acura salesman overpromised...surprised an Acura dealer would do this. Offered free pickup and return on all service. After the sale service department stated this was not company policy...was the salesmans commitment.
