Handling.
Braking.
Thats it!
Cons: How would you improve 2008 BMW 5-Series?
Outdated engine.
Less horsepower than competition.
Uses premium while many competitors can use regular and get 40-53 more horsepower.
In bad need of restyling inside and out. Interior looks like it belongs in a Buick or Chevy Malibu, very austere, angular, bad electronics. Leatherette instead of real leather, just old and outdated, bad visibility.
2008 BMW 5-Series Review:
Too many little problems that require shoptime. Wish my wife would sell it and get a true luxury car that is reliable!

Handling and power of 535 engine.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 BMW 5-Series?
The engine has a habit of running very rough upon a warm start. It is as if the engine is running on 3 cylinders rather than 6. The dealer can't to fix. So for a $50+ car this is a huge disappointment. If this cannot be corrected soon I do not see a 535 BMW or for that matter any BMW in my future.

Solid car, drives better than Lexus GS, quality interior materials.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 BMW 5-Series?
Electronics have been a issue, with several of the issues being "known" but not discussed prior to purchase. Some issue large some small. Service team doesnt seem to interested in fixing "smaller" issues (car switiching to KM instead of Miles regularly type of stuff...)
2008 BMW 5-Series Review:
If you want a car for the driving performance this one will make you happy, but be prepared to have some "issues" with the electronics and even engine. Have the manager, owner, service manager put in writing the known issues and see if you are willing to deal with them for a $50k + car.

More rear seat leg room because I drive with the seat all the way back and rear seat passengers behind me need to be under 6 years old to fit.

revert to conventional transmission shift from the "hi tech" version
exterior styling still seems a bit weird
