Pros: What do you like about 2008 Cadillac DTS?
Excellent ride characteristics.
Plush interior.
Great style.
More gadgets than you would ever need to use.
Navigation System and Bose radio are great.
Quality is good.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Cadillac DTS?
My only complaint is that the suspension could be made firmer so that the handling characteristics would be better. Some lean when negotiating around curves at 45 mph. My CTS(sport) handles much better. But then also it is not a land cruiser.
2008 Cadillac DTS Review:
This truly gets you back to the early 50's and 60's when cars had trunk room leg room and you were not squeezed as a sardine. It is a pleasure to take long trips and not be tired at the end of the journey. For the money you pay, you do get great value in return.
All the luxury you really need is there. GM has taken the right step in improving their quality - not up to par with BMW, LEXUS, BUT GETTING THERE.

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Cadillac DTS?
Exterior, excellent features, excellent handling and power with the Performace pkg
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Cadillac DTS?
Get rid of all the Chevy interior parts (the steering wheel, the radio, ac controls, light switch) and replace with Cadillac level equipment. These parts have no place in a $50K car.
2008 Cadillac DTS Review:
I lease a 2004 DeVille DTS (comparable to the current Performance Pkg). The new car's gauges look so cheap when compared to my 2004's Lexus-like gauges. My '04 has a unique radio and ac display while the current DTS's equipment is identical to the Impala I recently rented. Does GM think we won't notice? My lease is up soon and I would have leased another DTS if the interior (which is what the driver enjoys more than the exterior when he's driving)wouldn't be so ugly! In addition, Caddy shortened the center console armrest so that its now useless (what were they thinking???) and there's no reason a $55,000 performance version of this car shouldn't have a shifter that's easier to use manually (like in the STS). I'm probably going to get the Infiniti M (although I'm told the engine is very noisy and intrusive and the ride is terrible) or the new Lincoln MKS. Caddy: I converted from Lincoln to you (and had a great time with my 2004) and now you lost me again because of laziness, cheapness and stupidity.
