I think the main things that Chrysler needs to put more attention to is interior quality. The seats are a little too stiff and are narrow.
I would also like to see the cup holders exposed at all times instead of having to flip a compartment open.
Finally the air noise in the cab gets a bit loud when you go 50mph and up.
2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Review:
I think the Dodge Ram pick-up trucks are geared toward the rugged American man. They yes may not be as refined on the interior appointments as some other brands are, but the Dodges will take a heck of a beating.
After owning a few different GM trucks that were new when I purchased them in the last 7 yrs, I definitely would not choose them over my current 08' ram. The 4.7 v-8 I have has a lot better power and is much better on gas than the 5.3 v-8 engine found in GM's full size trucks. Not only that, but my engine doesn't sound like it has a bag of bolts in it. Best of all, when my truck is waxed it turns heads like no other vehicle I have owned.
Some say the Rams have a stiff ride, but that stiffness is there because the truck can handle a load very well. I guess the best thing to say to anyone who's looking for a truck is to ask yourself a question. Do I want a ''truck'' or a car? If you're looking for plush luxuries and a float down the road ride, then the Dodge won't be for you!! But if you're intending on getting a pick-up that will actually do the jobs that trucks were originally designed to do and keep reliably doing them, then look no further than the Dodge Ram trucks!!!!!

I HAVE HAD MY RAM FOR FEW MONTHS NOW AND REALLY LOVE IT. I HAVE ADDED LITTLE TOUCHES TO IT SO IT REALLY STANDS OUT. I WOULD BUY ANOTHER ONE IN A HEARTBEAT. IT IS REALLY NICE WHEN YOU PULL BESIDE SOME YOUNG PUNK IN A RICE BURNER AT A REDLIGHT, AND HURT HIS FEELINGS WHEN YOU LEAVE HIM WITH HIS EGO DESTROYED. DODGE KNOCKED THIS ONE OUT OF THE BALLPARK. I JUST WISH DODGE WOULD HONOR THEIR RECALLS NO MATTER HOW LONG IT'S BEEN. IT WOULD SURE HELP WITH REPEAT BUSINESS. JUST GOOD BUSINESS SENSE IS ALL I'M SAYING. Pros: What do you like about 2008 Dodge Ram 1500?
I have owned my 1500 for 2 yrs. It has been the best vehicle I have ever owned. It can do it all, tow, pull, haul, and it cleans up really nice. Comfortable ride, loads of space, front and back seats. I have the 4x4 but I think I could have gotten away with rwd. Probably only used the 4x4 10 times when towing my boat. Great on gas for a 5.7 hemi. I have to turn it in in Feb because I am moving into the city and don't have parking for the beast. I will miss it.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Dodge Ram 1500?
Make the pickup bed more accessible, something like the F150 mini ladder on tailgate.
2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Review:
Great truck, much cheaper than competitors, fewer bells and whistles than competitors but I would buy another tomorrow. One last positive, the giant angry front grill promotes lane compliance. Get the hell out of the left lane!!

Great look.
Great ride.(smooth)
Fast w/good accel.
Tows great with or without trailer brakes.
Pretty quiet inside.
Many good features is high models.
Love the nav.
Windows roll all the way down in back.(no halfway crap)
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Dodge Ram 1500?
Could be quieter inside.
Rattling noises with bumps.
Needs Dual climate control in all stock.
Needs cushion in the seats.
Stock seat warmers in all upper models.
2008 Dodge Ram 1500 Review:
I have had my truck for over a year and still love it! It's the best in its class (don't compare to diesels). It tows great, has good breaking and is nice smooth ride. Not too bad for long road trips and has pretty good sound. Great gas mileage for a truck. I like it, I just need a lift~!

Acceleration.
Smooth shifting transmission.
Quietish engine.
Towing capabilities, having both, tow/haul (this is a great feature) & O/D off choices. (4.7L w 5-spd 545RFE tranny.)
Handles corners pretty well for a truck.
Lifetime power-train warranty for peace of mind (I used to have a 1990 Dodge with the Ultradrive 905c).
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Dodge Ram 1500?
The seats lack lumbar support and fatigue can set in early on long trips.
Less hard plastic, more softer plastics.
Reprogram the transmission to not shift from 5th +lockup all the way down to 2nd w/ passing gear engaged (I assume this transmission likes to stay in the top gear for the best Mileage).
Cut down on the Exhaust noise, it's a little annoying @ highway speeds.
Passenger seat back rattles and squeaks on country roads if you have no passenger.
Improve the electronic throttle, it is as annoying as my Toyota's is!

Aggressive look.
Smooth ride.
Nice power.
Lots of interior room.

20's need a little bit more aggressive tires rather than gas savers.
Seats are a bit stiff for comfort.
Stereo needs to point to driver more. Glares in sun and is very far away to reach.
Needs a little louder mufler from the factory but not too loud to compromise the integrity of in cab resonance!
