Pros: What do you like about 2008 Ford Edge?
It is a great car. It responds good. The gas mileage is really good. Runs fantastic.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford Edge?
The Front seats always give me a backache just above my waistline, whenever I go on a long trip. Needs new seats.
The mirrors cause problems seeing when I turn left.

LOVE my 2008 Edge, I just bought it 5 days ago.
The exterior is very attractive.
Interior very comfortable, spacious, and modern.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford Edge?
The ONLY thing I do not like is the gas mileage... Wish they would offer a 3.0 Liter 6-Cyl.
2008 Ford Edge Review:
The Edge is an awesome vehicle, very stylish...love the chrome plated grill, and interior gauges. Just wish the MPG was better. A 3.0 Liter V6 would be better.

I love my Ford Edge Limited.
I have added 20" Perelli's and tinted the windows all the way around. Her nick name is black beauty.
Love the way it rides and handles.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford Edge?
I am scared from what I have read from the other Edge owners. My lease is up and I was seriously considering purchasing it. The buy back is only 18K. I have had to replace a sensor, and there was something called a cam that needed to be replaced. The dealership had my car for almost 2 weeks, but they paid for the rental.

Love the moonroof, seats,sync system and navigation.
Has a great stylish look.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford Edge?
After only 27,00 miles, needed new brake rotors and pads, a new cabin filter, had to fix a clogged air vent due to water spilling all over my front foot area and just yesterday, the car started making a weird whooshing noise while driving, lurched forward while in park and now I cannot accelerate at all unless the gas pedal is pushed almost to the floor. When the car was shut off, the engine stayed on for a minute more.

Love the Vista-View Sun Roof.
Performance is more than adequate.
Gas mileage is better than expected.
Very comfortable on long trips.
Love the Sync and satellite radio.
Love the rear air.

Better tires. Mine need replacement at 35K (I drive like your grandfather.)
More storage area under the mat in the cargo area.
2008 Ford Edge Review:
This vehicle has been a very good vehicle. It has met or exceeded my expectations in almost every way. It's a very comfortable car with great handling. If it continues to perform as now, I would be inclined to purchase another Edge.

Roomy.
Love moonroof.
Heated leather seats.
Drives smooth.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford Edge?
Not happy with rotors and brake replacement on all four wheels with 16,000 miles.
They did not cover the rotors and brakes so it has cost us about $600 to repair. There was a terrible grinding sound and this needed to be taken care of.
Anyone else the rotor and brake problem?

At 28,000 miles vehicle started jerking in and out of gear on my way home from work, would not accelerate and was making a noise under the hood like something was very loose and rubbing together, had towed to dealership. Transmission is done. This car has been taken care of and has been pampered, kinda crazy to have a new car and have the transmission go out. Dealership not wanting to give a rental.

Overall, I love this vehicle but after seeing the other review that someone else had the same transmission problems, got me thinking that I may need get something else.

Needs less cheap plastic touch and better inst. cluster lighting.
"All" power toys similar to my Lexus RX 330.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford Edge?
Instrument cluster, very poor daytime lighting. At dusk with parking/headlights on back lighting not bright enough. Ford replaced cluster, still the same problem. If instrument face were white or similar to Flex it would be a great.
Hey, Ford guys. Could these inst. clusters be swapped?
Needs a "5" gear or higher ratio.

2008 Ford Edge Review:
01/23/09:at red light, foot on brake, engine surged, Edge lurched forward, sent car in front into intersection, turned to avoid another collision, foot still on brake, no stopping, put it in PARK, no deal, put on emergency brake, finally stopped!! Imagine the stress, anxiety, chaos. Case in legal dept. at Ford ,counting on a fair solution. Family has owned many ,many Fords with few problems. Anyone else experience this? Will post further developments.
