Pros: What do you like about 2008 Ford F-150?
I have a 08 f150 xtr super crew. Well I do like the way it feels when I drive down the hwy. It feels tight, and when I need to pass, it's there. My driving is all hwy.
I also like that the grab handles are solid for getting in/out.
Also you don't hear the engine at hwy speeds.
I also like that the radio can self adjust to my speed.
The windshield is very wide but not high enough.
The blind spots are not to bad for where they have to be.
Leg room is nice.
Seats move back nice enough to be leg comfy. Seats are all right, but would be better with a arm rest attach to them on the side, for us tall people. It really bites that I have to pack a small pillow in the cab on the center consul to get it to be higher so I don't have to lean over so much. Although there is a lot of room to sleep in the driver's seat when you lay it back. Other then that it's all right.
I might buy anther one in the future.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford F-150?
Fuel mileage.
Higher arm rest.
Better rear heat for rear passengers.
Dim all the mirrors for night driving not just 2.
Put stronger door handles on the inside.
And improve the rubber around the door trims so you can't here the road as much. This is where I feel they cheap out on. I had to take mine in three times to try to fix the road noise - maybe not bad for city driving, but get out on the hwy and you can hear the road.
2008 Ford F-150 Review:
It's not a bad truck, I have driven worse. I also like the way my buddies' truck rides, drives, seat comfort, (08 silver, 4 door g m c). It will be a tough call when it's time for a new one. I do like the way the Ford looks.

Pros: What do you like about 2008 Ford F-150?
I have a super crew XLT 4X4 with the 5.4L and it is the perfect truck for day to day living. Lots of power for towing. Recently we had a pretty decent snow storm and the 4X4 was excellent. What I really love about about this truck if the fit and finish of the interior. Simple controls but not boring.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford F-150?
The fuel mileage is something that could be better. It isn't horrible but it could be better for sure.
The cabin is quite large so better or more heater vents in the rear seats would be nice.

I like the looks better than any other in its class.
Good gas mileage but not great.
Performance is good for the smaller engine would like better acceleration.
No problem with service yet.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford F-150?
Better grill.
Better acceleration, a bit under powered.
AC does not work well at idle.
Other than that, love it.

45 foot turning circle makes you have to plan turns but I don't mind since I have the SuperCrew and 6.5 foot bed.
Need more storage.
2008 Ford F-150 Review:
Great looking truck...a Lariat SuperCrew 4WD with 5.4 V8 and a 6.5 foot bed. I like its handling, looks, and almost everything about it. I recommend the 5.4 V8 and 6.5 foot bed. The 4WD and high stance look good. Back up warning and rear camera are nice to have. The truck has a lot of chrome and the chrome is easier to keep clean than I thought it would be.

I loved all three of my Ford F150's and have had no issues with them.
I am loving every thing about them and try to keep them in top notch condition.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford F-150?
Ensure that parts such as Air Condition Compressors will last longer than two or three years or be willing to make good by replacing or repairing small leaks or major problems upon request with or without a warranty. This is Ford's reputation we are talking about. I've been told by Ford representative that it'll cost around $700.00 to repair or replace my ac compressor.
Ford Motor Company Customer Services has placed the burden on the customer without giving satisfactory results. Mere words does not solve the problem. It may make them feel good that they have addressed it but where is the CUSTOMERS' SATISFACTION? And it is not the customers' fault. No vehicle this young should develop a small leak in the AC compressor. Does this sorta sounds like the recent smart phone with the antennae problem?
Ford has a very good product and problems does pop up once in awhile. Let's take care of the problem and keep the customer happy.
I would improve 2008 Ford F-150 or any other Ford product by fixing the problem, not giving a customer the run around. I've talked to three customer services rep and they all failed to provide Customer Satisfaction. Change the name (Customer Satisfaction) to something like Customer Conversation.
2008 Ford F-150 Review:
AC compressor: Small leak. Short term usage. Bad lot number. Weakened material, rust, damaged, young vehicle - certainly not customers' fault. Ford Motor Company, step up to the plate.

4.6L engine is grossly under powered especially for the high gas per mile ratio.
2008 Ford F-150 Review:
I love the truck but wish I would have got the 5.4L or new of some cheap easy tips to increase the HP of my 4.6L. The interior rocks but could use a couple extra storage places.

2008 Ford F-150 Review:
My truck is 5 months old with 6800 miles and it's in the shop to have 2 - coil packs replaced. I traded in a 2004 F150 LXT with 158,000 miles the only thing I did was replace 2 set of brakes. I wonder if I traded a good truck for trouble.
