The car has incredible iconic appeal,that cuts across the entire demographic spectrum. It looks fantastic, sounds incredible,is quiet and comfortable inside,and delivers 19 to 21 mpg,as a daily driver.To be honest,the car appeals to your practical needs,and you are only a few thousand rpm's away from every mans ideal muscle car experience. Beauty and the BEAST !!!
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford Shelby GT 500?
The car could use an interior trunk release,more ergonomically tuned shoulder belts,lower 5and 6 gear ratio's,and a few more creature comforts,to include a dash that is not so abjectly spartan. The car has a great 6 speed Tremac, but it would be faster in the 0 to 60 with an automatic.
2008 Ford Shelby GT 500 Review:
I have 9000 miles on my Shelby,and everytime I get in it,I still have that love and enthusiasm I had the day I bought it. I had a recall concerning the passenger air bag,and no other problems. I think the car handles better than alot of reviews indicate,and if you take the traction control"off",you could go through rear tires like Kleenex.

It has awesome exterior looks and very solid power.

There is quite a bit of room for improvement in the interior. The design is fine, just improve the quality of the materials used inside.
2008 Ford Shelby GT 500 Review:
I love my 2008 Shelby but as mentioned, wished the interior had a higher quality of of materials (eg:too much poor plastic). My only performance change will be swapping exhaust, Borla is a much meaner sound.

The front end of the shelby is very aggressive, mean, nasty I love it!

The rear end of the Shelby GT500.If you put a 2008 Saleen rear now that would complete the mean machine!!

The car has great power and a strong motor.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Ford Shelby GT 500?
Tune the car better, it is a gas guzzeler, because of the factory tune and the performance is lacking because of the factory tune. Dealers that price increase from MSRP should be limited on the number of vehicles they can get from the factory.
2008 Ford Shelby GT 500 Review:
The consumer can increase both power and gas mileage just by doing a computer retune. The brake calipers are too big which limits the after market wheel selection to almost nothing.
