Pros: What do you like about 2008 Mazda MAZDA3?
2008 was a great year as I happen to have gotten lucky as the Mica Grey I wanted in the S Grand Touring had the Upgraded Bose Audio, Sunroof pac. and the front spoiler and quite frankly I feel its one of the most beautifully designed cars even in a $10K or $20K higher cat. Designer also did Jags. It's near absolute perfection and the balance of power, handling and looks is a package I can't find anywhere else even now in 2010! I wouldn't trade it for even a loaded Audi A3! It's fast, one chap said "needs more power" use 87 octane NOT 91 as it clogs the throttle body and kills the power by gunking it up as I found after cleaning it and boy did it rip after that and the service tech schooled me on my wasting $$ on 91 oct. I think many reviewers are afraid to give this car top marks because it is so near perfect for the little money and we just can't have that now can we! Early 08's had no Navi -so what or power seats, so what neither does a Ferrari F40. My point is this sucker is definitely a sports car at heart and when you push it it screams for more I ALWAYS feel completely in control at all speeds and conditions but no snow! Its not an suv. I have 30K miles and look forward to driving every day to work 20 miles of pure heaven each way!

They blew it in 2010, but I'm glad! I have the quintessential and now unavailable 2008 body style which can no longer be acquired! Ha ha - This is going to be on of those body styles that goes down in history like the Datsun 510 or the BMW 2002, you watch now that they ruined the looks and the car resembles some kind of freaky toy car with bat eyes for tail lights. It's probably faster and all that but it doesn't touch the looks of the previous years and you can see the perfection of what once was now that it's gone. The new 3 - puke - Looks like another Toyota or Honda or whatever....the only change I would make would be slight wind noise reduction over 80 mph it disappears at about 100 but between 80-98 the buffeting is slightly loud, but that's a speed I hit maybe once a day. So that's it, other than possibly adding 2 more gallons to the gas tank.
2008 Mazda MAZDA3 Review:
An all around beautiful, do everything car that can be driven like the sports car in its heart or sent to Costco to bring home the groceries and then get you on the great long road trip over the weekend. It's a car you can easily fall in love with. Simple, economical, quick, beautiful, reliable and unique- The Bomb!!!

Love the ride and handling.
Gas mileage is good.
Stick shift nice and smooth.
Cons: How would you improve 2008 Mazda MAZDA3?
Seats can be better for long rides.
Engine knock since new. Can hear it over the radio at idle. Dealer says Mazda will fix it when they can!
Needs a better grade of carpet, super hard to keep clean.

2008 Mazda MAZDA3 Review:
Great fuel economy and overall value for a compact. My only complaints are with the wipers. In my experience - and I've driven over 13,000 km in 4 months - the quality of the wiper blades could be better. My only other peeve with the Mazda 3 is that the intermittent wipers seem to have a mind of its own at times - not going on when it is raining or going on when with not a drop of rain in site.

Blue Tooth as a standard feature, longer sun visor, storage tray to replace ash tray, fog lights as a standard feature, rear leg room, ground effects, better radio reception, more aftermarket accessories, deeper exhaust sound, deeper sounding horn. 5 star rims, or bigger rims and low profile tires, Better longer Warranty, automatic door locks when your car is in gear, front dual power seats, LOWER PRICE
2008 Mazda MAZDA3 Review:
I would recommend this car to anybody who likes a zippy car thats fun to drive with style and gets very good gas milage. Don't waste your money on the 2.5 engine because the 2.0 engine is zippy enough with our family of four and the power is still there as if you were alone in the car. There is alot of the silver color Mazda 3i Touring on the road so go for i different color. If your looking to make modifications to your engine you might want to buy the Mazda Speed 3. You will have better luck with performance parts.

I love my Mazda 3 (I got the base trim) It handels good. Good gas consumption and easy to park.

Power everything would be a nice standard feature. I hate my maual locks, windows and side mirrors. and offer the Mazdaspeed3 in a 4 door sedan vesion.
