More low end torque
Better gas mileage
Interior scuffs very easily
You sit too close to console
Instrument panel back light needs to be something other than red
Excessive condensation and draft inside due to suicide doors

2008 Mazda RX-8 Review:
The RX8 is the best looking car on the market, but if you are going to talk the talk you have to be able to walk the walk. While the handling is superb the rotary engine leaves something to be desired. Low end acceleration is non-existent. I rated the car a 4 in performance based on the handling, if I could have given the engine a 3.5 I would have. You have to keep the car revved to the max to get good acceleration, and this reduces gas mileage. I have a lot of interior condensation on the windshields and the car is actually drafty, which I attribute to the suicide doors not making as good a seal as regular doors. I sit close to the instrument panel and when you turn the headlights on the instrument panel glows red and is hard to read. The smallest amount of contact with the interior plastic scratches it, and of course there is the issue of oil usage. You have to really love the rotary engine and the brand to like this car.

I have a hard time getting the blavk interiorto stay shiny. I looks a little dule

to much road noise not enough service locations if you have a break down on the road

Great handling - yearns for the next sharp curve
Great styling - not another slab of metal (sorry, BMW 3-series)
Unique (and wonderful) rotary engine hum
Great interior - supportive seats
Super value for the ride and look of the car
Smooth short-throw shifter
Overall - it's a driver's car

Cons: How would you improve 2008 Mazda RX-8?
Clearly, could use a little more HP, but that's part of the charm of driving it.
Better air conditioning
Better rear visibility
Better mileage

2008 Mazda RX-8 Review:
This car is engineered for drivers. Handles as well (or better) than many more expensive sports cars. Since the torque band is high-end and the HP is less than some of the monsters on the road today, maximum performance must be coaxed out of the rotary rocket with care and skill rather than simply demanded by a sharp jab of the throttle. I had an RX-7 for many years in the early 80s into the 90s. The RX-8 is even more fun.
